Well...that's fucking terrifying. Am I the only one that sees "degeneration into police state unavoidable" written all over this INSANE idea?

What police state? People could police them self. I think McCain should build his platform on it.

I've done a bit of editing to your letter. Hope you don't mind.

Quote:
Dear likely Republican presidential candidate, John McCain,

You are Bush with skin cancer and have no chance of winning this election.

With sincerity, the undersigned.

P.S. - You may've survived being a POW, but our money's on skin cancer.

P.P.S. - You lost when you said that "you don't understand all this economy stuff."

Speaking of McCain, did anyone see this?

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...against-obama/

CNN) — John McCain’s chief media adviser said Tuesday he is stepping down rather than campaign against Barack Obama.

Mark McKinnon said last year that he would leave McCain’s campaign after the primary season if the Arizona senator were to run against Obama.

The Illinois senator is not the Democratic nominee, but he has accumulated a significant lead in the number of delegates required to claim the nomination.

In a 2007 interview with Cox News, McKinnon said he would vote for McCain, but "I just don't want to work against an Obama candidacy." He added that if Obama were to reach the White House, it "would send a great message to the country and the world."

Wow, someone in politics who has morals and stands by them. Thats pretty kewl.

Also, you have to admit its funny McCain has lost another adviser this week (thats like 5 now) - this one to Obama.

Whats really funny is even if he wasn't a pro-Obama supporter he makes a very valid point - how does one craft media attack ads against a black man and not come off looking like a big racist? Because if one ad does cross a line, you know that McCain's campaign will serve up a scapegoat, probably the media adviser. Either way, this man seems to be on the ball.

Your right! My concept on gun control may be the only way he wins the Presidency. He needs all the help he can get.

Please do send that letter, and let's all hope he finds it a good idea and starts pushing it in his campaign... that way, we can all rest assured that he will never win the election.

Man, if ONLY. Hell yes, send that letter. Either way, I'm going to be amused.

The only thing I agree with you on is "people can police themselves".

Other than that, this is purely entertainment.

After revieing the vote on when or not to send the letter to McCain, I feel there should be a caucus to discuss the dismissal of half the votes.
