They used to make eyeliner out of it.

Maybe that's where the term "givin' 'em the stink-eye" came from?

Oubliette, yes, it is the profoundly noxious, acidic, semi-liquid combination of pee and poo that bats emit.

Nasty Stuff!

On Jack Hanna's Sunday morning animal program yesterday, they did a feature on a guy who relocated 10,000 bats from a college football stadium in the southeast United States. They roosted under the bleachers, and on game nights shortly after the light towers came on and games started, the bats would swarm out from under the stands and poop on all the fans on their way to their nightly feeding.

Bet that put a damper on alumni contributions!

* Edit - as opposed to the poo you DO mess with? *

that really would be quite the thing for your mind to come up with.

Am I the only person who talks to their betta fish like they're a criminal? I seem to be constantly accusing my fish of being on drugs (ie, bad references to the "bubbler" in his tank, etc.), he flares like none other though, so I figure he's asking for it...

Losers is right, talking to random things is great, you don't have to worry about them mouthing off or talking back (unless of course they're talking objects and you don't realize it at first...in which case it provides hilarity).

As for headaches Sobeh I empathize, I think my brain is currently trying to claw it's way out of my forehead

It's fun to talk to inanimate objects, isn't it, my precioussss... *lovingly pets her replica of the One Ring* Yes, precioussss... we talks to the precious all the time...

Sorry. I had a random Gollum moment. Actually, I really do talk to inanimate objects, although it's usually either talking to a doll or a stuffed animal, or swearing at something I've tripped over, or calling my computer an "infernal piece of technology."

I argue with the radio, and pop up ads

my favorite being the pop up for some genealogy site loudly proclaiming that I might be irish, I was all, "What an intelligent little pop up, I might be irish *mutters under breath* fuckwad..."

How DARE those pop ups!
I like when the antivirus ones are wrong. Like today I was at my friends house and there was an ad saying he was infected by Blackworm, it also said he was using firefox, although he wasn't, and didn't even have it on his computer.

I usually just reply and debate with it... Usually John Basedow.

How are you guys? I've missed this place too much. I'm doing pretty well in classes, so I'm gonna try to come back during the semester.

If you'll excuse me, I've gotta go check out some of the threads.

It's been too long.

Ah yes, Rabbit, Eyes mentioned that he has returned. I decided to come see the damage. I've heard of other trouble makers too.

I'm rather interested by this phallus fucktard. He seems to be giving Texans a bad name. Well, if he lives in Texas, I might just have to visit him, so to speak.
