Okay, randomness ftw. This time about.. CLOWNS!

Okay, it's 18:40 and I have absolutely nothing to do.
I got tired of getting my arse kicked by a Hard enemy in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars so I decided to start a thread!
"Oh no, please spare us!!" No I won't! :P
"Show some compassion!" The world showed no compassion to me! (a cookie to the person who can mention where that last one was from)
Now, what's everyones oppinion about clowns?
Personally, I find them freaky and scary as hell :S
The way they... clown around.. looking like a clown.. being clowny.. BRR!! >_<
So, what's your oppinion?

My opinion is that you could've posted this into the randomness thread on this page.

That would've been boring :P I mean, an entire thread dedicated to bashing/loving clowns! Does it get any better if you are bored? :P

Thank you for contributing to Gnet with yet another pointless and space consuming thread.

On the other hand, Valrys, how many of us would have found that clutter in the way? :P:P

Now to oblige Anarsha in his request to hear about clowns....
I hold a grudge against clowns because, when I was 5, a clown squirted me in the eye with one of those plastic flowers that... squirt water. I gave him a good earful, I think....
But ever since then, I've distinctly avoided clowns. Except for this one time when I got a huge craving for a balloon animal... when I was about 15...

Hahaha, agreed. Otherwise, they're irritating and frightening. Not my kind of humour at all.
By the way, are you watching this thread constantly?

No balloon animals! They remind my of this one guy that used to walk around Jackson Square (New Orleans) making balloon animals for money. He would never talk, just whistle. I used to wonder if he could still whistle if I ripped his lips off and sewed them to his asshole.

Tbh I would have been more interested in hearing about C&C3!

I just bought that game for my Bf, seems like a cool game IMO.
Anyways...
Clowns!

I use to have a large mirror in my room with a crying mime clown with a cat on it. I don't know why I had it I just liked it for some reason. And I didn't look at it and think "Clown/Mime" I just thought it was nice...I s'pose Oo.
and my mum has a hanging/swinging porcelain white clown near our kitchen.
But It's never crossed my mind "OMG a clown!"

So I guess I'm just indifferent about them

I can!! I can!! It's from the Phantom of the Opera musical! When they're in the underground lake and Erik kidnapped Christine, and Raoul goes to save her! It goes on like:
RAOUL: Christine! Christine! Let me see her!
ERIK: Be my guest, sir.... Monsieur, I bid you welcome, did you think that I would harm her? Why would I make her pay, for the sins which are YOURSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! (scary voice)

...

So, do I get a cookie? (I love that musical. Honestly)

And, yes, I find clowns quite scary. I don't know why, but a lot of children are afraid of them too. It's weird...

Killer Clowns from Outer Space...... anybody else ever see that? I am forever scarred by the thought of giant cotton candy cocoons.

IT sort of speaks for itself...

and then there's rodeo clowns, those guys are just insane, but it is a shame how much they get shit on by the guys whose asses they save. although i think that has changed a bit in recent years.

Ummm, what is there really to say about clowns? I like some, I don't like some, I do have respect for the gumption it takes to try to make people laugh, especially while covered in goofy clothes and goofier makeup.
