U don care if ppl take u srsly? wtf?! teh least u cud do is express yurself in ways that others both understand as well as respect; otherwise you come across as a child who couches his or her views in stock abbreviations and limited phrases. And such a person has little to contribute.

You, however, may indeed have a viewpoint worth considering. Please try to convey it - I for one welcome new blood. Of course, if that blood is teh TaInTz I'm not going to be able to absorb it...

The phrase "we (I) (you) simply must---" designates something that need not be done. "That goes without saying" is a red warning. "Of course" means you had best check it yourself. These small-change cliches and others like them, when read correctly, are reliable channel markers.
