Got up early in order to go to cross-country practice (however, oddly enough, I had a lot of fun on the last hill on the way back. Maybe just because it was the last one...? I dunno.), and then had the crap scared out of me by a 9 year-old using my one main weakness against me... spiders. *shudder*

And I spent the whole day hating the eye doctor and the sun for being so bright. In the evening I finally got the guts to go outside again, but only with sunglasses so I could atleast keep my eyes open. I have never worn them...they are, eh, blue. And I look like a "Tussi", as they say here in Austria, in them. I never knew how easily I take on the role of the things I am wearing. No matter what music I heard or what else I was wearing. The sunglasses made me all sassy and I was completely not myself. I got two numbers of guys I met today and also managed to get free into the club because of the cute guy by the entrance. I was disgusted when I took the sunglasses off at home.
So, in other words, I spent the day not being myself.

I ran 4 miles, and I didn't even have practice today. I was running late (no pun intended) on meeting my friend at the park, so instead of walking there as a warm-up like I planned, I ran, made it in 7 minutes (it's about a mile), then ran 2 miles around the track at the park and then ran home. I wanted to walk home, to relax a bit, but I was late again, so another 7 minute mile. In total, I averaged 4 8-minute miles in a row. I used to run a single 10-minute mile and get tired. It's disgusting how much I've changed in the past two weeks because of practice starting up. Whoo, and I get to do it again tomorrow. Twice! Once in the morning for practice, then again in the evening with my friend because she's going to be in class tomorrow morning and has to miss practice. I'm thinking of riding my bike alongside her instead of running...

Why yes it is the one im looking for.
I might just buy it off of itunes and save some money. Project 1950 isn't as good as I thought it would be but a great album nonetheless.

Why do you guys give out money for music? I know its illegal, but using eMule or Kazaa is much easier. Out of all the people I know that use this, exactly 0 have been caught so far.

wow, you really are a profesional runner. I go running out of free will (something I still can't comprehend) lately...and its damn hard. I manage a mile in maybe 12 min, and that with my little smoke-brake in between.

I'de rather spend a dollar of my money to buy a song than get a virus from kazaa.

Haha, you should see some of the guys on the team. They are freaking fast. I'm usually about to reach the 1.5 mile point on a run and they've already turned around and are passing me as they go back the opposite direction (the girls typically do 3 miles in a practice, guys do about 5, so that means they made 3.5 in the time it took me to do 1.5). For help on improving your mile time though, the only thing to really do is keep going. Push yourself a little harder each time, try to get out about 5 or 6 days a week. If you tend to get muscle crqamps, stretch those muscles out before you run, it'll help a lot.

Seriously. Kazaa is crazy, I don't trust it at all. I'd rather spend a few dollars on an album than get it for free but pay a couple hundred bucks to get my computer fixed after the hard drive crashes.

I used the name Kazaa becuase everyone knows what it is....if you've never heard of eMule try it out. Maybe you haven't heard of it becuase its German. But its good. Not so fast as Kazaa, but safe.

...and i am not trying any comersializing here. I just stopped spending money on CDs ages ago because here they are way too expensive and the good stuff is imposible to find anyway.

Speaking of CDs, just today I purchased the Southern Death Cult's self titled (and only) album as well as 'Fall: the complete singles' by the Sex Gang Children. I love buying CDs on amazon.com. They have almost anything.

I'd feel bad downloading albums (though I don't have a problem with it) because theres something comforting about having a disc and a case and everything that comes with it instead of just a few computer files.
