It is I, Met....
I can't remember exactly when it was that I started down that dark alley on the corner of Goth and Head-banger. Maybe it was sometime between Iggy doing Texas and Van Halen breaking up. I became a more active Goth-type shortly after leaving the nest of Southern Baptist parents for the wide open spaces the United States Army provides. Old Goth, New Goth, either way the evolution has been as strange as its followers. I don't bother with distinctions I find they just get in the way.
I live at the end of America's penis (Miami, FL). I live with my wife, who I shall refer to as DOD (Dragon of Despair) and my daughter, who I shall refer to as Dragonqueen. I had four dogs but my old man of almost 16 finally succumbed to the cancer that had been eating at him for two years and I had to put him down to end his suffering. Pit Bulls are tough dogs.
I have been an artist in one way or another for my whole life, but alas at present I am a lowly graphic designer for a diamond company. In reprieve I have put up a website for my art. Look for it on the proper thread in the future.
All my life I’ve been told I tell good stories and should consider writing, it took my whole life, so far, to listen. I’ve written a novel. It is titled Chronicles of the Damned look for more on this posted on the proper thread also in the future.
I’ve come to this community in the hopes of meeting new blood to infuse my imagination and gather inspiration for the next books that I am to write by request of my peers.
I look forward to interesting exchanges of thought and clever banter.
