Thin hair.

I've got pretty thin hair. You guys spend all fucking day preening, you must have some kind of explanation or some tips to give me on how to manage it, go wild.

By thin do you mean fine/flat? Or thin as in going bald?

My hair is really fine and flat , I crimp mine for volume but wether or not you'd do that is entirely up to you ( I am doubtful ? )

I've never actually seen what you look like, is your hair long? If yes, then getting it cut shorter ( if you can bear it ) and adding some product, be it hairspray, wax or gel should help it look thicker if you style it in some way.

I used to shower and french braid my hair before bed, that way it had a bit of volume to it when I took the braid out in the morning, plus my hair wouldn't get in my face or around my neck while I was sleeping but that was back before my hair decided to get super thick and slightly curly.

There are tons of things you can do to amp up your hair, it all depends on your hair type, hair cut, and how much time and effort you are willing to devote to it, so post a pic and let us know.

Crimping and teasing.

My hair is really fucking fine. It's never really agreed too well with my being a big-hair enthusiast.

I use volumizing shampoo and conditioner, and I let it air dry (this way it will dry wavy or somewhat curly). When I want to make it big, I tease the underside maybe a bit, put hairspray on with my head flipped over, and mess up my hair and poof it up with my fingers until the hairspray sets.

It usually does a really sufficient job of making me look like I have hair.

I have thin hair as well. I cut mine with lots of layers in it, use a volumizing mousse on it when it's damp, blowdry it upside down, tease the shit out of it and hairspray to set.
It still falls flat.

My hairs really fine as well, even putting it into a simple ponytail requires some serious work and grips, oh so many grips.I did successfully get it looking big with over an hour of teasing it though. Took almost as long to wash it out so I wouldn't do it all the time. The best thing I found to give my hair the appearance of fullness is some paste from Toni & Guy, it's meant to add texture to the hair or something, works for me anyway. Bit sticky though.

Try root lifter maybe. Pureology makes one, as does Pantene (though I have never used the Pantene, just saw a commercial for it once). You spray the scalp while your hair is wet, then rub it in, then brush the excess through, then blow dry while brushing it up and away from the head all over.

I meant that it was fine rather than that I'm going bald, obviously I'm a little young for that. I wanted it to be thicker, but on second thought, nah, I can't be bothered doing anything with it.

Sounds like you need to use a new product - the Tears of Robert Smith.

That'll thick it up a bit. Or freeze a satsuma in mid-air.
