I've seen too many of these kind of stories, so I'm pretty selective of where I make purchases online. Hack, on eBay even with people who have high ratings I usually make sure my first order is a small dollar value. Still, you can't live risk free ... so you take a hit once in a while.

If you don't get your order and don't get a satisfactory response to your emails, you might consider reporting the site to www.ripoffreport.com and www.scam.com so at least future potential shoppers can learn from your experience.

I think some phone calls are in order. There is no reason why it should take this long for your items to ship, unless something was on back order but if that was the case then you should have been notified. You need to get someone from this company on the phone and figure out what is going on, they must have some sort of contact number. If you can't get things sorted in a way that satisfies you then I'd file a formal complaint with the BBB.

If you paid with credit then I would contact your credit card company, if by check or debit then your bank, and let them know what is going on, they may be able to help you get this sorted out as being contacted by a large organization like that holds a lot more weight than one upset customer. It is a bit of a long shot but my bank did something similar for me a while back, I was having no luck on my own for quite some time, but once I called my bank they sorted it all out and I got a full refund as well as an apology within 24 hours (which is one of the many reasons why I will always have an account with them, even though it is a local bank and don't have a branch where I live now).

No phone numbr listed on the site the only way to contact them is through the email.

Paid through paypal, and the bill was paid since I placed the order.

It's not like it's a big company, mostly they're artisians for styling leather books. But I didn't order a book I ordered from their shop, specifically not getting things listed as out of stock because I was aware I couldn't be waiting as long as 15 weeks to be able to get some custom book. I checked the TOS and by everything they list I should have my order at most 2 and 1/2 weeks after the order was placed but then got that email saying I wouldn't get it til May 31st, and that when it was sent I'd get an email with Tracking info which I still don't have.

Hm...it looks like they do have a phone number (704-502-3991) but it is only for voice mails and they say not to call for general questions and order information. I'd still give them a call as either there is something weird going on or something just isn't getting communicated through text so a conversation really is needed to sort it out.

For awhile there I was regretting even continuing to come on this site, there's a lot of hostility.

But you can't shape your actions just because of the statements of others, the most you can do is not lower yourself to continuing it.

I have allowed myself to be lowered to that level more than I care to admit but I like to think that the majority of my interactions on here are positive so at least there is some hope of avoiding the majority of the hostility.

There are some people who are mostly hostile but you come to expect it from them, its seeing the nice people flip that bothers me.

Call them again and let them know that you are very concerned about your order and that you have some problems that you need to resolve. Also let them know that, while you would like to avoid it, if you have not heard from them shortly then you will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Hopefully that will motivate them to actually pay attention to your request in a timely manner and if not then go ahead and file a formal complaint.

People get screwed all the time. I ordered a new phone 'cos mine broke. 100 € later i haven't got it because the customs office don't have the CE declaration of conformity in French. I could translate it but it still wouldn't be acceptable because it wouldn't be stamped and signed by the legal representatives of the manufacturer.
