I am kind to some and (unintentionally) inflict pain to others. So I cover both outward manifestations. A sort of yin/yang idea. Good and evil in each of us.

Mother Earth is my favourite song of theirs, personally.. It's very different from all of their other stuff, and I love nature, so it works d(-^)

Lacrimosa is a gothic metal band with strong classical influences. Tilo Wolff is the lead singer, songwriter and composer for the band.
Here's some more information :

Arms of Cicero by the Sex Gang Children is one of my favourite songs of all time. Ever since I first listened to it I've longed to be this character of Cicero.
"Free from the itch of her sexual desire
I believed in the things that happened to me
So she mastered the art of treating decay
To the babbling madmen with nothing to say
So I'm lower-class tooth and she's iron fisted
I'm gunning for her money in the arms of my Cicero
Give us your guns and we'll give you nirvana
Walk away
Barbers and scullions and charioteers
Are the constant delight of these tooth racketeers
They live in the wake of a pretty young gigolo
Who lives in the arms of this Cicero
She's bully with his eyes and a lover's secret
I smile all the time just like an exile in Mantua
So give us your guns and we'll give you nirvana
Walk away
I'm king of the cafe cone
Chabanas is a sphynx who sells poison and guns
Not for holy reasons
Give us your guns and we'll give you nirvana
Walk away"

My name derives from Mephistopheles.
Mephistopheles is the given name of one of the chief demons of Christian mythology.
Mephistophelian means to show the typical cunning and wickedness of a devil.
I read up a lot on mythology and ancient devils.
-shrugs-
And plus I was reading 'The Faust Legend' while I was signing up.

Tumor humor? Okay, um...
A tumor walks into a doctor's office. The doctor says, "You're going to die." The tumor says, "I want a second opinion." The doctor says, "Okay, you're ugly, too." Ba-dum-bum.

Heh... me too!
...but that's because I had never seen such a particularly pretty picture of Tilo Wolff... that icon has become my fave, although I still have yet to find a larger copy of it...
As for my name...
I originally had to decide between "Alainia LeStrange", and "Hyperion's Sky", which were respectively a character and the title from a manga story I tried to write before I realized that, although I can draw, I am NOT a good writer...
So I moved on to deciding between "BlackButterfly", "Mariposa Oscura" ("dark butterfly" in Spanish), "OoMurasaki" (the Japanese "great purple" butterfly)...
The whole butterfly thing is because no one ever suspects a butterfly... they are so pretty and innocent-looking. People are the same way with me.
I also tend to like species of butterflies with a lot of black in their wing design.
-_-;;
sorry for all the words...

Now I have to go to Limewire and go beserk on Lacrimosa. I looked at the guy and thought. O.o Guy, posing with bondage, cool looking, and having German titled stuff, GONNA KICK ASS. Can't go wrong with German really, so far everything German I have listened to in my life has turned out pretty good.

Originally I liked 'Disorder' because I was going through a slight System Of A Down obsession stage, and in the song Toxicity there's a nice little bit that goes:
'Now, how do you own the world? How do you own disorder?'
So I was like, "Oh My Goth, Disorder is like so cool and stuff"
Also, Google Dictionary says:
# condition in which there is a disturbance of normal functioning; "the doctor prescribed some medicine for the disorder"; "everyone gets stomach upsets from time to time"
# disorderliness: a condition in which things are not in their expected places; "the files are in complete disorder"
# perturb: disturb in mind or make uneasy or cause to be worried or alarmed; "She was rather perturbed by the news that her father was seriously ill"
# bring disorder to
# a disturbance of the peace or of public order
And a few weeks back I discovered a nice little song by Joy Division called Disorder. Just the icing on the cake

Splintered.
Like.
Fractured.
Shattered.
Split into many different pieces.
For some reason, I can never picture what I actually believe as some kind of really, smoothly put together piece. It's more like a grouping of little pieces that don't exactly fit together that well. So, they're a bunch of splinters of ideas mixed together. Ergo, Splintered.
