Crimping irons on planes?

Um, does anyone know whether I can take my crimping iron with me onto a plane? I hadn´t planned to have my bag checked in as normal luggage (waste of money, really), so I sort of need to know this by tomorrow morning :P It´s a question of wearing my hawk for the next few days or not wearing it, I guess.

You mean as part of your hand luggage? I can't see why it wouldn't be allowed. My friend brought hair straighteners on as part of her hand luggage not too long ago. I'm not 100% sure though. :o

Does your airline have a list of things not allowed on their website?

Probably as check-in, but I'm not sure as far as carry-ons.

Hm, the list doesn´t say anything concerning electrical appliances. I´ll just have to risk it, I guess. :P
