Mael didn't strike fear in hearts. E_E was a total sweetie but appearance wise very intimidating I think he could definitely take a zombie hoarde out with his bare hands. And wasn't E_E an emergency room nurse? Breaking gender roles while being totally badass.
Yeah, we can use present members, but if that's the standard, they all seem to fall short.

I'm pretty sure I'm too sappy to even enter. Myoccasional seizing of control, shit-hot leadership skills and enviable way with crying women all arise directly from the fact that I spend so much time time getting drunk and having faggy talks about feelings with my friends. I kinda think the perfect crying jag can be a display of manliness - that balance of sentimentality and gruff fortitude. Then again, I'm drunk and faggy.

As for dads: my dad raised and slaughtered his own sheep and cows, geese and whatnot. Him liked the decapitations! Slitting and gutting fish was nothing. And he made his own bullets and cartridges, built his own brick walls around his house, mixed and poured cement, even made a fallout shelter during the early 60's. Machine tooled all kind of things metal including making his own automobile engine parts.
