Should i Dye My Hair Red?

i can show you a picture, if you want.
i am part native American, so i have somewhat dark skin with poofy hair, so it might not look quite right, but i don't know...
Here is sort of what i want it to look like:
http://www.lacarmina.com/blog/2009/0...ma-mia-farrow/

That is, Carmen Yuen, not Mia Farrow... mine will probably be darker red, her's is almost pink in some pictures... but that is basically how i want it to look..

Here is me:
(my hair is straight in this one) http://princesssandi.deviantart.com/...-hat-139395869

and a bad picture, but it shows how my hair looks when it's not straightened or poofy: http://princesssandi.deviantart.com/...shot-139396310

Do you think i could pull it off?

What shade? If you're leaning towards an auburn color, sure. If a vibrant red, then no.

Everyone should dye their hair red.

I think you should do what you want, but if I were you I'd do a full color without the streaky bits, and I'd do a very dark auburn, as Alyce suggested.

Bleach it first.
Or at least sections.

All over "natural" red - absolutely not.

Unnatural red like the first photo you linked to, however, would look excellent.

Ew, LaCarmina. But that's not a bad red, I've had the same question myself.

I miss my red hair, mine was a deep burgundy. One issue I've found with red hair dye is that it fades so fast! (and yes, I use the shampoos for colour treated hair) I gave up on having red hair about seven years ago because of that fact...
