Hello. I am Carbin Monoxide.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I am still at shool. In my spare time I play guitar and ukulele.
2. Where are you from?
Kirkwall, Orkney. Which is a tiny island in the North of Scotland.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Hemingway.
4. What are your favorite films?
Probably "I'm a Cyborg, but that's okay." I don't watch much TV or films, though.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I don't intend on getting married.
6. At your funeral?
Something ironcially cheerful, like "Don't worry, be happy."
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Quietly and peacefully at a really old age.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
A white one, maybe.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Green socks.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
My furby, JayJay.
11. What's your favorite band?
I can't choose! Maybe Sigur Ros or Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I am taught at Kirkwall Grammar School. I'm probably best at English.
13. Why did you join?
I was advised to join by A Morbid Curiosity.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I am female.

A Morbid Curiosity and now this girl come from the same place, know each other, and are curiously miles ahead of a lot of people. It's weird how so much greatness seems to radiate from a place that isn't my location.

In what way are they ahead?
I'm not even trying to be rude. I seriously don't get it.

This is a thing I don't get about you.
You give people credit for the oddest things. Yes, Hemingway and Nick Cave are both neat things, but people aren't cool or good or "miles ahead" for liking them.
People SHOULD know about and respect good literature. You shouldn't get a merit for something you should already be doing. THe people who don't should be punished.

I give people credit for liking the things that I like. That's the most sensible rewards system I can think of.

It's also crazily jumping the gun.
You decided this chick is "miles ahead" when she made one post. It is 100% possible, and even probable, that she's read one or two Hemingway books, sort of liked them, sort of understood them, and said he's her favorite author so she'd seem smart.

Huzzah! I feel honored to be welcomed into your community.
I spelled Carbin with an "i" intentionally; it is how Regina Spektor pronounces it in her song "Carbon Monoxide." If you listen to the song, she clearly says "carBIN monoxide...."
Adues to you all.

I can vouch for her knowledge of culture. I discover more music sitting around her house on Saturdays eating tortillas and going through her record collection than I do anywhere else. Haha.
Nevertheless, Ophelia is kinda right. We could be assholes.

Just a heads up, it's "Adieu". It means "to God", sort of the french version of the Spanish "via con dios".
....And yes, there was little point to that. I'll chalk it down to being Canadian and having to listen to too many people butcher French. Just ignore me XD
