I already am, I'm not happy with my band. It seems they don't want to put any effort in and write songs, they seem to enjoy covering Amy Mc sodding Donald songs...

It was already difficult enough scraping a band together. Our drummer isn't too happy about it either, he might leave before me, and if he does, I'll probably start a new project with him. The problem is most of my musician friends are either nomadic street kids that aren't actually in the country half the time or don't own instruments because they sold them...

Selling an instrument.. Such behaviour is not acceptable unless the money go to the pool of money which you scraped together in order to get a better version of same said instrument >.<
But yes, you should hold on to your drummer.

Drummers and Bassists are hard to find. Good guitarists are a dime a dozen. People that will play stuff other than metal are really hard to find. I this country we have an infinity of popular/good metal bands, and I can think of 2 good/successful punk bands...
