Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Where did you obtain your information? I read an interview where he stated that it would be interesting to create his own fragrance line, ideally called "Smells Like Children". Not because of the album, nor the "Kiddie-Captor", but because of a novel written about a man who spent his life serching for the perfect smell. The end product was, of course, the smell of children.
But I'm going off topic, I'm inclined to believe you're incorrect. It's human nature to assume the best of people whom they admire. I'd rather my opinion of Manson remained intact should you reply to this post.

It's "priest" not "preist". Peter Gilmore is the current High Priest in the COS, Marilyn Manson is but a lowly Reverend. He became a Rev. in 1993 (or 1994, not sure) and not enough people actually cared for it to be a "huge publicity stunt" then.

This is only 1/2 way on the subject, but did anyone see the beautiful wedding photos of Manson and his bride Dita Von Teese in the latest issue of Vogue? I can belive it was so classy/traditional. I was surprised. Dita looks fabulous!!!!!

Why would you want to smell like children? Children usually smell like dirt and crusty mac n cheese.

Marilyn Manson's genius is marketing. He has been totally successful at getting all kinds of free publicity, and finding fans in the great numbers of alienated teenagers who are easily brainwashed.
Believe it or not, I was at Brian's (before he was Marilyn Manson) mom's house here in Florida when he explained his whole plan to me years ago. His genius lies in the fact that his plan worked exactly as he thought it would.

^Oh yeah? Well a friend of a friend said he knows Marilyn Manson (sorry, "Brian") and guess what? He said he stole his lunchbox when they were in high school together in Tampa or Boca or wherever the hell, and guess what was in the lunchbox?
Huh? Heroin! Yeah!
Sorry, had to throw in MY 'I know somebody who's cool enough to know Marilyn Manson so that makes me cool too' story.

I know a guy that listens to Marilyn Manson.
Sorry, I had to throw in MY "I know somebody who is somehow directly/indirectly related to Marilyn Manson os I can indulge my little fingers with their pitter patter against the keys of my laptop" story.

Two girls in my class are crazy over him, but I don't see why. I never understood why people listen to him music and idolize him so much.

I find his music to be OK. I probably wouldn't pick his makeup over any other, unless it was decent and cheaper than other brands of the same quality.
