London Calling

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm a graduate who's temping while figuring out what to do with the rest of her life. I love learning languages, travelling, photography, going to the gym, reading and socialising. Original, huh?

2. Where are you from?
Born and bred in London but Spanish through and through.

3. Who is your favorite author?
Ack... Probably Terry Pratchett or Jasper Fforde. I like the surreal.

4. What are your favorite films?
Gangster and horror films, but no zombies - I'm terrified of them!

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Assuming I actually got married, Metallica would do nicely.

6. At your funeral?
Something cheerful and silly. Oh to hell with it - play the "Macarena" and get everyone to dance along!

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Painlessly would be good!

8. What kind of casket would you want?
I like the idea of being cremated viking-style on a pyre, but as that's unlikely to happen, cremation in a cheap casket is fine by me.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Black corset, red "ripped" skirt and pirate boots.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Being able to get away with murder because I was cute.

11. What's your favorite band?
Metallica.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
BSc International Business with Spanish

13. Why did you join?
I had a brilliant English teacher during A-Level who got me into Gothic Literature (and even helped me select books of that genre for my assesed essay). Now that I've graduated, I'd like to get back to reading and writing again. I don't really consider myself a goth, but this seems a good place to go and find out more about the literature.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and if you have any more questions, fire away

Heh! It's so embarrasing though!

Where we live in Spain, there's a castle on a hill with a church and graveyard halfway up. This hill is also surrounded and covered by a forest. So when I was 7, my cousin thought it would be a good idea to tell me a bedtime story about how if you're out of bed after midnight, zombies come out of the cemetery and drag you back to eat your brains.

I've been terrified if them ever since!

Castle?
Graveyard?
Forest?

Of course there's zombies there! Did you ever thank your cousin for setting you straight?
