CORRECTION! You get paid E-5 BAH WITH DEPENDENTS.
Right now, I'm taking 4 classes. Each one is worth 3 credits except for the math, which is worth 4. In a punching the clock kind of way, it looks like I go to school 10 to 12 hours a week.
It takes 60 credits to graduate college for me. I'm working on 13 credits right now for just one semester and from what I'm understanding, there's two semesters a year.
Something about that sounds a bit off to me though. I'll have to look into that stuff again. I'm new to the whole college experience, so a lot of things don't really make sense to me.

There are two full semesters but most places offer a J-term (during winter break) and at least one summer term (my school offered three summer terms). At most schools those "extra" terms don't offer the full catalogue of classes but they can be a really good idea for your first year or two as they do usually offer most of the gen-eds. Also make sure that you are planning ahead when you select your courses as there are courses, especially upper level courses, that may be required for your degree that are only offered once a year.
There are some schools that operate off of a trimester system but they aren't as common and I don’t have any experience dealing with them.

I'm really bored at work. I have seen all of 2 guests today, hell we only have 155 people on property.

I hear you. I should read a book for class but other than that I don't have a thing to do. Was supposed to hang out with someone but she flaked out, bah.
I'm debating about getting a job this semester, at least then I can bitch about having too much to do.

Plus you would have money, and that can really come in handy.

Generally it does XD I don't like waiting around for loans, thats for sure.
I'm hoping that everyone who applied for a job at the women's resource center already got a job and I can swoop in and take one even though the deadline is gone >.> I didn't know we were hiring again this semester, poo.

C'mon you assholes, pay the fuck attention to what you're doing. Classes are going to be hard enough, I don't want to have to make sure you're doing your shit right either.

Most universities are incompetent. Never give them originals, but you can show them originals and photocopy everything so you have a record of everything and keep your old assignments.
Once one of my lecturers lost my entire grades for a subject and asked me what I got and my campus was a small rural one.
Universities over here run on semesters, full load is 4 subjects, but some consider 3 to be a full load.
I think the ratio they allocate is for every hour of contact time, you need 3 outside class (for research etc).
But then I did my degree through distance education and as far as I'm concered, I'd only ever study through DE, because you can study at midnight or first thing in the morning and you don't have to put up with 18 year olds in class with their "well I haven't heard of biofuel so it can't exist" stupidity.
Versus - I love finding money like that. Usually I only find two bucks in the washing machine (I like laundering money).
*rant*
I flippin' hate tradespeople. Seriously do they specifically learn how to be wankers during their apprenticeship?
I can just see the course outline:
How to be a wanker 101
Advanced Wankerism - how to completely piss off your customers.
Optional classes:
How to overcharge when there is a shortage of tradespeople.
How to talk down to the little woman of the house (and get even more money)

Mmmmm, limited edition. Seriously though, that sucks. Is it another uni student? Stalkers suck major balls.

Sounds like a real peach. Is she actually bipolar or is it just a self diagnosed illness/attention seeking?

I'm just calling her bipolar, 'cos that's what she seems to be.
She's possibly the most fucked up person I've ever come into contact with. And with my track record, that's impressive...

Well, I can't really comment on that but shit, she must have some friends or something that might suggest to her that she seeks some professional help? I know they have a uni medical centre so she ought to get her crazy ass to see a doctor and get herself straightened out.

She doesn't really have friends. Then again I don't really know anyone with enough of a heart to be friends with her....

Jack, you need to not allow yourself to let those kinds of people into your life. This comes from someone who just so happens to be a magnet to those types. Its just extra stress you don't need.

I'm having workout withdrawals. I need to go run.
Is it worth the possibility of dying on my way to the gym?
I think so.

If I were inclined to believe in Hell, I'd think there is a special circle there for people who get in the express check out with twice the item limit.
