I take my hat off to anyone who can crochet.
If I was wearing a hat...
But you get my point...

I've never attempted to crochet an octopus, but I've been knitting these fun capelet things to try and sell.
I'll have to post pictures here sometime. I've been using some fun yarns to do them... last one I finished is to fit a child (maybe age 6-8 depending on the size of the child) out of a bright yellow fun fur yarn. It looks a bit like Big Bird.

And uhh I would buy a Purple Fur one for me.
Let me know what you want for them per rug and I'll be one of your first customers.

I will must certainly make you an octopus if you buy me yarn. The less wild and crazy the yarn, the better it works for things such as this. Your basic brushed acrylic is good. If you have any eye preference you should get that in gear too. I used buttons because that's what was handy.

Not sure what I'm charging on the capelets yet; they don't take long to make but tend to use fancier yarns.
I should take a picture of me in the one I made for myself. The yarn I used is a bit tricky to describe; it's kind of purple and fuzzy but with strings of other colours mixed in with it. And I'll let people know on price.
