I had my birthday last night... It was a costume party in honor of Friday the 13th.
And now I'm at work, too fucking early, and probably slightly hung over.

This fact about the 13th is quite interesting, and so is the fact about the months. Neat.
I am not one for scary movies but I did see the commercials for that on Bravo.

Yah happy birthday 
I ended up going to a club (yes, a "normal" pop club, but hey I may have new friends which I've been desperately wanting in this city), dancing and having a great time, and they played some decent music. Actually, for Friday the 13th, they also played some "appropriate" songs, like the Time Warp, and they handed out free tickets to their halloween costume party, of which I got 4. I also got 6/5 (you read that right) on my history assignment and a free dinner with new friends. I couldn't have had a better day myself.
triscadecaphobia (or however its spelled) is silly. Like fearing black cats...they're just cuter than average no need to be afraid...not like walking under a ladder (I did that once, and my school play was cancelled. I can't prove a connection, and the play was terrible and depressing, not a single happy scene about "being a woman", the title of the play, but dammit, I was in a play and the principal cancelled it after I walked under a ladder at the first dress rehearsal).

Only good thigs have happened to me in connection to bad omens. All you have to do is stop thinking something is unlucky and it stops being unlucky.
I own a black cat which means I have a black cat cross the road in front of me thousand of times a day and the only bad thing that ever happens is that I trip over her.
And Friday the Thirteenth has always excited me so much as some kind of holiday that only the most wonderful things happen on that day for me. There's nothing special about that either I would say. If you expect something nice you do quite a great deal to achieve that, possibly unconsiously...and especially if you're in a holiday mood.
Also, all possible test-cards that I have taken with the number 13 happened to be the thing I knew best.
Oh, and I couldn't view the liks above so I don't know whether you have this already, but I read somewhere that a man lost his wife (divorce), driver's licence (drunk driving) and job (reputation down the drain after drunk driving) in one day.....and guess what day that was. But I would say for the above to happen one doesn't need friday the thirteenth.
Funny, isn't it, what kind of mess poeple can get themselves into only due to their beliefs and fears.

I can relate to some of you. Great things have happened to me on Friday the 13th. i have gotten a brand new Goth SG guitar. in which i have been dying for,and this was 2 years ago. This year, i got my ROKR phone fixed after being broken on (get this) Valentine's Day.
