It got to 85, so I laid out in the sun for the length of my Megadeath Best Of CD. So tonight I went to go pee (standing up so I could see the mirror) and I did a double take! I was like "Niiiiiiice!" I am not pink or anything, just nice and tanned.
Why did I do that? Cause this operation and not being able to go out has made me pailer than Nickypoo's buttcheeks.

Packed my things...
finished some university stuff (well, I tried)...
called two of my closest friends...
went running at evening to see the mountains turn orange and pink before nightfall ...
got mentally ready to leave...
actually, I want to say good bye for a while.
Not, that I've been contributing a lot to the forums during the last months, but still...
I'll leave to Greece for about 2 months tomorrow, where I'll be working and writing my thesis at weekends and nights.
After that, I'll move on straight to another excavation which is some place in the mountains in Austria, where I'll work till middle of August...
then I'll be around in the mountains again, for a survey on a roman road, just for a week...
and the day after that's finished I'll leave to Turkey and I haven't made up my mind yet, when I'll return, but earliest around middle/end of October...
I want to see the middle east, join some excavation projects there, but this is all very vague and insecure yet.
I'm leaving with mixed feelings this year. Which is new for me, usually I'm just glad to be able to run off again.
One of my best friends suffers from Parkinson and heavy depressions. Parkinson's moving on very fast in his case, it seems. And he's just 40. Even though I know that there are reliable people who care for him and that I'll tryto make it to my hometown every weekend during the time I'll be working in Austria to see him, I'm worried.
I also hope the best for another good friend and colleague of mine, who had some quite complicate knee operations since November and hopes to be able to walk again painlessly in fall.
Since we've gone to see some Hockey matches (a part of the Ice hockey world championship took place in Innsbruck) he is talking of how he wants to be able to be on the ice again in winter and joining the excavations again next year every day. I hope so much that he'll make it.
The last months, life has been very intense. Extreme in both good and bad aspects.
Well, I wish you all a beautiful summer, have a good time, stay healthy!

Have an excellent summer yourself, Nike! Wish you all the best with your thesis and excavation projects, as well as the health of your unfortunate friends. They're lucky to have someone like you, anyway.

Nike: Your absence will definately be felt. But, as before, I can't help but feel a lil pang of jealousy for the traveling and freedom you enjoy. Take plenty of pictures along the way and have lots of fun!
Today I got up, took a cab to work and stayed on my feet for six hours straight without a break. Then I took a cab home and got on the 'net after kissing my husband(who was going to work) goodbye for the night.

i really like it when the shitheads among them say - if 'x' doesn't happen soon, you're gonna have a fight on your hands.
i really like that.

Yeah, then you probably palm their little head like a basktball and bounce them off the nearest wall.
That would be awesome.

Yesterday I saw the painting that this painter guy Britto did of me and met David Caruso and his fiance at the gallery. They invited my family to their house in LA to see their art collection when we go out to Cali this summer.
Sweet.
Today I started reading A History of the American People.
Not as sweet.

You got to meet one of my favorite actors ever?
I loved him before NYPD Blue, and paid to see his films in the theater.
Of course, he kicked ass in Session 9.
I used to use alot of his "tough guy" nuances for my own, like when someone starts to beat their chest I get up in their grill and say "You wanna dance? Cause I love to dance." ala Kiss of Death.
He rules.

Yep, and I've never seen anything he's been in. He's a nice guy, though, if you can ignore the whole "sex outside of marriage" thing. Which I can't. It goes against my religion.

Welp that settles it: Life is fucking unfair. You don't deserve to sniff the golden shits that drop from David's sweet ass, and you get to meet him.
Life just sucks.

Granny, ya bitch....
Hey Al, you seen the film where he goes underground to dig up dirt on Nicholas cage, who plays a mafioso who's allergic to metal?
Brilliant flick. Ain't he doing one of those CSI things?
Great actor, and too underused in film, just like the guy who plays the henchman in bullets over Broadway. The one who eventually falls so in love with the play that he kills the flozie his boss told him to keep an eye on in order to save the play.
What's his name?
I think it's he or Raymond Romano who does the voice of the mamooth in Ice Age.

*chuckles* Have you been a good boy, E_E?
But yes, good to have them back.
As for me, I've made an ass of myself, and not gotten enough sleep.
Same old, same old.

It's June. I have to go and enroll for more classes in a few days. I'm really not looking forward to Calculus (ewwww), but Criminal Law and Economic Theory will be fun.

I've nothing all day except work out. I'm an exercise ma-CHINE! Not literally. Right now I'm waiting for my friends to call me so I can go to a swanky club on SoBe. I'm bored like whoa because I don't even want to start getting ready yet, but also excited because it's a swanky club on SoBe. Wheee.
And calculus-hahahhahaha. I took that class three fucking times. Never taking math again. Good luck with that.

I went to work. This is not so incredible, it's actually fairly common, despite my desperatly wishing otherwise.
But what was really interresting happened a couple hours ago. I was bending over to pick up a happy meal bag. They're in a little metal cage that comes up to about my waist, and the bag was on the bottom (Why they're in a cage, I don't know). The top is reinforced with two sets of bars parrallel to each other and about 1/4 inch apart.
My chest kinda got squished by the bars, but I didn't really notice until I tried to pull away. My nipple ring got caught in between the bars. I'm really glad it came out on its own (of the bars, not my body, thank goodness), or else I would have been very unhappy and trying to unhook myself from the bars in front of the customers and my coworkers.
But I spent the next ten minutes rubbing my breast and whimpering, which is sooo much more dignified.

granny - i like that your face is so close to the toilet in your avatar. it's sexy, in a REAL dirty way.
and panther - thanx for saying that you spent 10 mins. rubbing your breasts. i'll lay down in a bit and think of that while i drift off to sleep, you luscious and sexy girl.
