His name is actually William Shatner. He used to be Captain James Tiberius Kirk from the original series of Star Trek, and has been in a LOT of movies and films, as well as releasing an album with a rendition of The Beatles song Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds that will give you a bad acid flash-back even if you have never taken acid!
He is now in a brilliant show called Boston Legal. His name is Denny Crane in that show and there is a running joke about people saying his name.
So much for the in-jokes.

Yeah, but he doesn't look like William Shatner to me! He seriously looks like that guy from Animal Planet that I keep seeing. Or maybe I just need sleep. Is that really William Shatner? He looks a little chubbier from when I used to watch Rescue 911 as a kid.

When I first saw that pic, I thought of writing him an email somewhat along the lines of...
"Dear Mr. Shatner, WTF?!"
Kellogs commercials? He did Kellogs commercials?!
I shall google it now!
But ya- so long as he doesn't do what Hasselhoff did. But then again "the Hoff" works for Dave.
Anyone ever seen him in that shirt that says "Don't Hassell the Hoff!" ?
