Six months after the death of his predecessor, Pope Stephen VI had Pope Formosus' corpse brought to trial for capital crimes. When the synod found the dead pope guilty, Stephen had the cadaver stripped of its papal vestments and removed the fingers with which the pope had blessed. Formosus' body was then dragged through the streets of Rome and was eventually thrown into the Tiber. The body was reinterred in 897. Although Sergius III confirmed the decision of the Cadaver Synod nearly ten years later, Pope John XI reinstated the disgraced Formosus about 40 years after his posthumous deposition...

-this moment is the history of the papists brought to you by Mollus Maximus with the after thought of this-

Pap is synonymous to the fantasitic words of drivel, balderdash, and twaddle; something nipple-ish; lacking substance, being an over-simplified idea- and is a not so false cognate of Papist.

Is it terrible that I laughed for about 5 minutes after I saw who this quote was from?

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us." -Helen Keller

Breathing, eating and quiet slumber,
Should be enough for anyone,
but with emptiness of heart I lumber.

I think I'll get my mind off of it by writing a song about it and getting it out of my system. =)

I've got the first verse all worked out! (three lines posted plus another two).

Do I ever feel lazy and irritable today. Might have something to do with V-Day and feeling like someone's driving a railroad spike into my skull.

At least I've got delicious French Coldwave to listen to.

Oh a belated Happy Birthday to Mr Henry Rollins. In honor of this, I played every single Black Flag, State Of Alert, Rollins Band and spoken album he is on. Happy 47th Henry!
