Wow Wizard!! I love your coloring technique, very very sheik and ultra modern. You have an interesting sense of creativity too. Congrats on the sale you made too...

WizardElement5 - interesting work!
corporalaccident - thanks for your kind words.
Lena - very glad you like the horse, which is called Ride the Storm. It's kind of about not being scared of your (negative) feelings (which are after all an aspect of yourself) but just going with them...not fighting them, which tends to generate its own problems...it's hard to explain adequately in words. It's done with acrylic paints, which goes for all of those pics I posted links to except the Fruitful Tree, which also involved coloured pencils and fine liner.

Wizard-I really appreciate your originality and technique. What kind of materials did you use?
As for myself, here's a little something I found in an old sketchbook. Here, it fit the mood so well that I chose it for my band's webpage.

That's really cool, I think it would look amazing in color.

Thanks Draconysius. When sketching, usually a 2B pencil. HB or H for the good copy. Inking - water based graph pens by Pentel, nib size 01. I print off an Epson stylus C82 onto Epson Archival Matte Paper which is very expensive but gives the brilliance of colour that I desire.

By way of contrast to my last post here, this is a portrait sketch done in pencil. It is really only a drawing exercise for me because it doesn't have the imaginative aspect that is fundamental to my actual art. However, (blows own trumpet), I think it's fairly sensitive.

I did do a portrait of my then wife, now ex that was a little more creative... it was of her being hung!!! SMers, don't we have all the fun?! (No, no, it was her fantasy and her request and I didn't actually hang her in order to do the work. She is still very much alive and well!) Unfortunately, I seem to have lost it, or she has it...

I will do a colour version of it when I'm feeling in more of a psychonautical mood

It is charcoal and pencil... just a dabbling, you realise, but I am fond of it.

Xng, everything is counted as art these days. Go and put a pen on the floor, take a pic of it and - voilą! masterpiece. Or draw a white line on a white paper and tell there's the deepest bearing of excistence - or why bother to draw a line at all. It's a work as such.
Qute photos. I liked the 4th and 5th and 6th pics.

Hi. Just thought I'd post a pic of one of my sculptures. This little creature is called Foggy. I'm going to paint the eyes copper-red instead of the blue that they are - I think it'll give the piece a darker edge.

Keep creating!

Hi Sanctus, hi Twisted. Glad you like him. I'm afraid my sculptures are way too much work to be give aways, but if you want to try doing something like it yourselves, I use cement over an iron wire frame and metallic spray(car)-paints to finish.
