Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

Immaculata (really good Australian band) ^_^

I've been listening to Immaculata for a while, and I'm quite surprised that they aren't better well-known, they're a great band from my country that play a combination of electro-darkwave-folkish music.

I highly recommend giving them a listen:

Tell me what you think.

P.S One of my friends knows the singer

It's an aquired taste. They're very darkwave futurepop. Not that bad, really. But it's not my thing, overall.

I kind of like Why Does Love Scare People So. Its not really my thing either, I prefer electronic music when its more aggressive, still pretty good though.

Yep, they're from Ballarat ^_^

Judging by responses so far, I'm guessing I'm one of the few people on Gnet that likes the sound of them.

I used to live in ballarat for a while, though I've never seen them live I've known people who have. They get a good crowd apparently.

I'm rediscovering their music; looking for more links. I've added links to several of their sites and songs at http://www.AustralianGothicIndustrialMusic.com - an archive of Australian Industrial Gothic New Wave EBM Electronic Body Music with 100+ artists and hundreds of songs
