Hi.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm a university student and I work part-time in an office doing data entry/secretarial type stuff.
I spend my free time reading (especially history books), making vain attempts to teach myself Latin, watching movies on my computer, thrift shopping, listening to music, playing flute, frying my brain, procrastinating on term papers, etc.
2. Where are you from?
Canada
3. Who is your favorite author?
I like a pretty wide range of books so I have trouble picking a favourite author. H.P. Lovecraft, Mary Shelley, Aldous Huxley and Joyce Carol Oates come to mind.
4. What are your favorite films?
German silent movies - Nosferatu, Metropolis, Faust, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Der Mude Tod
Anything so awful it's entertaining - Plan 9 From Outer Space, Robot Monster, Troll 2, Manos: Hands of Fate
Other stuff - A Clockwork Orange, Anne of a Thousand Days, LOTR trilogy
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
No damn idea, to be honest. I don't even plan on a wedding.
6. At your funeral?
Haven't thought that far ahead yet, I'm afraid.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Opioid overdose. (Only when I'm old, though. None of this dying young rockstar crapola for me.)
8. What kind of casket would you want?
I'd want cremation, so I don't care too much about a fancy casket if it's just going to get charred. I'd rather the cash get shelled out for a nice looking silver engraved urn for my ashes.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Short black jersey dress, opaque black tights, 14-eye Docs and lots of silver jewelry.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Maybe the free time. Besides that, nothing. I was a awkward loser of a little kid, life is much more rockin' now.
11. What's your favorite band?
Bauhaus, Sex Gang Children, Gloria Mundi, Christian Death, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Electric Wizard, Sleep, Black Sabbath, Skepticism, King Crimson, Nico, Edith Piaf
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Just finished first year of university. I'm a History major/French minor and I plan on getting my education degree afterwards and teaching high school.
13. Why did you join?
I have an enormous paper to write for my summer class, and internet forums are my favourite form of procrastination.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female.

Yeah, you're cool. Good music choice too (the doom metal, I mean, everybody mentions just goth rock bands here most of the time).

MST3K makes all bad movies extra entertaining. I've seen the regular version of Manos, though. With a group of people and a state of at least mild intoxication it is truly incomparable. The best part is when they show the kids making out in the car for no reason.

Canada is one of your favourite places? I typically think of it as a nice but slightly dull country. What parts have you been to?

I go there every summer to varying parts of Ontario, mostly a place called Stratford. I don't find it dull in the slightest lol.
