So yeah, I suppose it's long overdue that I embarrass myself with some of my own very horrible poetry
At least now it's an even battlefield.
I wrote this for a friend of mine who means the world to me.

You are my light, a star on the dark nightsky.
A rose in a garden of weed, the beauty amongst the beasts.
When I think of you, my face betrays me with a smile as wide as the vast oceans of this world, and my eyes glow and my heart races.
When I hold you, I forget your thorns and your flaws, and when I see beyond your closed petals, I see the true beauty of this world.
And when I am without you, my soul cries crimson tears.
