Short answer short: 18
Short answer long:
I'm technically 18, but I have the mentality of a 11 year old (along with the energy of one), the knowledge of a 25 year old (according to my most recent IQ test), the wisdom of a 35 year old (thank god for going into depression when I was a kid... Gave me a LOT of free time to introspect and think about life without being interrupted by the superficialities of everyday life, as people just labeled me as "Weird" or "Goth" and left me alone!), and the body to match... Damn tasty food for making me obese, and thank god for DDR for making me lose 35 pounds, but the stretch marks are still visible...

I'll be 22 in April. Most of the time I feel a lot older... especially when my flatmates (who are at most three years younger) call me Mum. Or when people mistake my younger sister for my daughter... bleh.

24. I will be the big 25 in February. Ahhhhhhhhhh! 25 seems like a cool age, but for the last few years I've been saying I want to *STOP* aging once I hit 25. Yeah, if only...

It's really irritating when people claim to be more mature than their age.

I think it's very possible. There are people who are forced to mature faster than others. When I say I am more mature than my age, I'm not speaking all the time, I have my moments where I act like the 16 year old girl that I am, but on the whole, I am significantly more mature than my age.

I didn't say it wasn't possible for people to be more mature than their age would suggest.

True fucking story, it's one of my biggest pet peeves.
Besides people in general, of course.

badteccy-Say what you want. I believe I am mature, as do many of those who actually know me. If you want to insult me, fine, I'm not going to try and stop you. It just shows how much time you have on your hands and how mature you are if you feel the need to bash people online for being honest and voicing their opinion.

I think it depends on who's making the statement too. I know a few on this site that claim they act mature, which they don't, which it's somewhat annoying, sad and quite the laugh, but then there are others that have mentioned it, and actually act mature too. You're one of the latter ones.
