Ugh exercise
I can just about run a tap o.O
Buuut trying out a vape for New Year instead of my fave .. smoking.
Mmm and kinda planning on taking up swimming ...
I say swimming; what I actually mean is splashing about, but hoping that in itself this exuberant act will cause toning of muscles. Yoga mat still under the stairs ... I may return to it, who knows? Exercising is just soooo boring. *huffs*

Oh .. but hoping to obtain a kayak for next summer!
Unsure as to whether or not that counts? Some serious paddling to get me away from the holidaymakers on the beach, buuut admitedly a picnic munch and lazy loll around listening to music and reading will follow :/
To be fair .. I'll then have further exertion when paddling back to land ho!

I started lifting again after years of inactivity, heavy drinking and tons of smoking myself. Really didn't quit smoking until just over a year ago. If you're serious about exercise, smoking won't matter. If anything, it will help curb the cravings for nicotine. Sure, it'll suck at the beginning, but the important thing to remember is not to quit the exercise you wish to exceed in.

*thinks about trying it*

You know you're a nerd when you can barely lift the books you read, and risk being crushed by them.

Ah, those were the days ! I was 20 when this was filmed and I must admit I was more into The Police, Debbie Harry and Sade in those days than Bauhaus. But the embryoic goth within was growing. Australia of course was a cultural backwater, so every trend in music and in all the other arts was slow in reaching our sunsoaked shores. Great nostalgia. Thanks Anise.

Cool, I didn't know there was a fitness thread here. I work at a gym right now, so I get to do circuit training 5 days a week. I'm halfway to my ultimate weight goal.
