Well anyway, Like i said, Stay the weekend with a friend and get it pierced then. But make sure you have enough money to pay for it and that it is professionally done.

And perhaps a friend to stay with, should things go sour.

How old are you? Depending on your age and where you live you may not be able to get it done professionally without a parent present.

I'm sure it wasn't going to be a professional thing. More like Sally from down the road was going to stab her in the lip with a safety pin and stick a copper 99 cent Claire's earring through the hole.

I don't really care either way. Gives me an excuse to act like a holier-than-thou, know-it-all ,elitist asshole-and also it makes MY piercings look that much better in comparison.
On second thought, GO FOR IT.

Sorry, what I meant was, that the risk of it getting infected is lower if I get someone who knows what they're doing to do it...
Sorry about that

It's alright. But you are right. The chances are lower if it is done professionally.

I don't have anything better to say about the piercing than what have already been said.
Tattoo, however, aren't a very productive decoration in the long run.
Imagine when you're 40, how would that tattoo make you look like ?
I suggest never go for anything permanent, unless it was a gamble you wish to take.
