I love:
Lying in a hot bath with the window open slightly when it's belting down with rain outside.
The feel of velvet.
Tending to my fishtanks ( particularly rescaping and adding decor).
The smell of a bonfire or proper wood fire.
The smell of leaf mould, earth and leaves.
Walking through the woods.
Autumn.
Waking up quite early on a Saturday, realising what day it is and turning the pillow over so I can press my face into the cool side and go back to sleep.
Planting things.

Cats and dogs.
Whisky.
Music.
Art.
Sharing or discussing the above with someone with a brain.
Small gatherings of all of the above, plus drugs.
Chomsky, Camus, Nietzche, Foucault, Hobbes, Diderot.
Hand-jobs in bed in the morning so I don't even have to move.
That first day off after nine straight days of work.
Coming home on said day to find find the apartment clean, a bottle of something good in the refrigerator, dinner almost ready and my girlfriend all clean and unmade up from the shower.

I love waking up early at the morning, before the sun had fully risen, drinking tea and reading an intresting book.
I love converations about books, poetry, art or music.
I love sunsets, when few clouds travel the sky and change their colours as the sun goes down.
I love the smell of the early morning or the late night.
I love cats. And I love my little gorgerous one.

I love when someone asks me where I bought my clothes, and I get to tell them I made them myself.
I love plucking memories from my friends to their shock.
I love taking walks by night and swinging through sprinklers.
I love having friends that cuddle.

And I'm sure someday...I'll finally be able to love me.

Beowulf, your list mirrors mine. Only change I'd have to make is to remove Italian. I love all food. Yum!

Does being goth have anything to do with the fact that the "I hate" thread is 6 pages long, whilst this one is at 2 pages?

I glanced at it with surprise also, but actually it's the argument about pado-philes which makes it that long.
That's strange, anyway.

My friends
Sitting by an open window with a fresh cup of green tea, watching the rain
Camping
Wandering through the woods, at two AM, with a friend, just talking about whatever comes to mind
The feeling you get when you get a good hug, and right away all the shit you went through that day is forgotten, and just for a moment, you're absolutely certain that getting up in the morning WAS worth it.

Music of any and all kinds.
Writing absolutely anything. I even love doing essays for school.
Poetry, the highest art form.
Nature documentaries… amazing when stoned.
My brother. He’s pretty cool – excellent taste in music, some of which he’s passed down to me. There’s a lot of stuff I’d never have heard off if it hadn’t been for him. Now that we’re older we get on amazingly well.
Autumn. I love walking through the local common when the leaves are coloured and the day’s all dreary. I don’t know why but it feels like the most atmospheric time of year. As of September, I’m pretty much always the one who walks the dog.
Flirting with someone I have a crush on. The promise of sex without the awkwardness of a first date or the hassle of a relationship. You can tell a lot bout someone by how they flirt. (I hate the word “flirt”, though. It sounds all perky and girly and puts me in mind of cartoon characters, or some reason.)

Not really. You're quoting Shakespeare, you're obviously a sap.
