You weren't too keen on "Saw". You don't know why, but you just could not get into it?

I paid money to see The Cable Guy, and walked out halfway through the film.

It is, without a doubt, the worst film ever (it even beats Manos, because at least Manos made it to MST3K).

Yay for MST3K!

"Cable Guy" looked awful to me when it first came out, but for some reason I am drawn towards it lately(Maybe that should be in the confessions thread)... I heard it was very dark...

It is dark, but not in a good way. It's more of an "annoying and depressing" kind of dark, which just isn't cool. I felt like throwing things when I left the theater.

Freeway, with Reese Witherspoon and Kiefer Sutherland. *shudder* Pain... lots of pain.

"Meat Market 2" is pretty awful. "Meat Market" at least had an idea.

I just saw "The Interpreter", with Nicole Kidman. Messy plot, one clinker line of dialogue that haunted me through the rest of the film, and the annoying distraction/fear of a possible Kidman/Penn kiss.

People receive different reactions to Saw. Generally, the majority sees it as a murder or ***** film, but it really is a story of mystery, philosophy, and life. It was that movie that inspired me to enjoy life, in fact. Saw II, however, was maybe even half the quality of the original, thanks to the death of the co-writer. Rest in pieces!

One of more recent movies with which I was disgusted was 'Ultraviolet'. It would hae been a great movie... ten years ago. The entire time I was watching it, I could sense a feeling of deja-vu; everything had been done out the arsehole in countless other films.

My deepest condolences, Chelseagirl. That film almost killed Jim Carrey's acting career!

Never seen the 2nd "Dungeons & Dragons", but after learning that Paris Hilton was acting in it, I was like, "Never mind".

CHELSEAGIRL: Seen it. Biggest rip-off of John Waters's screenwriting style I've ever fucking seen! Horrible flick! I saw it only because Natasha Lyonne was in it.

Draconysus-Where is the philosophy in "Saw"? Sorry, but all the reactions you had to "Shit", one could wasilly have with any of the 70's exploitation flicks. Sorry, but "Saw' was a follow-the-bouncing-ball faux-exploitation flick that doesn't even have the balls to go all the way. It's as if the film-maker said "oh, I can't believe I'm stuck doing a horror film. I'm SOOOO above this, and the scum that watch it...oh well, it's a paycheck, so I'll give the type of scum that enjoy these films all they want", and the people who "enjoy" it arein reality pissed off about how crappy the film is, so they keep telling themselves things to justify the fact that they paid $9 for a piece-of-shit film...things like "in all actuality, it's a deeply philosophical film".

And yes, "Saw' is, by far, literally, THE worst film I have ever seen....at any time....anywhere...in my life.....and I'm somebody who's seen the entire "Crememaster" cycle....and also enjoys Steven Segal films.

The Village was a total waste of 2 hours of my life...or however long it was. I wanted to put myself in a coma.
Although I do have this thing for Adrien Brody...*drools*

I purchased Wolf Creek without seeing it because my cousin and I had nothing to do, and I didn't have my I.D. so I couldn't rent movies. We ended up not watching it and I've had it for a few weeks. Last night I put it in hoping to get some scares. 45 MINUTES INTO THE DAMN MOVIE AND NOTHING! JUST A BUNCH OF KIDS TRAVELING. I turned it off, and I'm going to try to finish it tonight, only because I spent $20 on it. I think from now on I'm just going to stick to rentals and the $5 bin at Wal-Mart.

Okay.... first alittle background on my reasoning of EVER watching this Movie. My Girlfriend is an exdancer, and Appreciates *Proclaimed* Dancing movies.....

Now the Movie: Honey.

+The only reason they even made it to theatres: because they paid the cinema companies The money they were supposed to put towards the script....

+Acting? Jessica alba is now blacklisted off my list of Actresses.

+Wheres the Plot? they vaguely give the viewer anything to help emmerse them into the (By far shotty) story.

+Continuity? Apparently they've never heard of it. so the Mother is an alcoholic neglectful woman...... so what possessed her to show up to their dance recital Sober and enjoy it....?

SO where did the money Go?? Cameo appearances of "popular Icons" (I use this term REALLY loosly) like Missy Elliot and 3rd Storee.

......
I win..... (If you can call that winning)

That movie was abosolutely pointless rubbish. No offence (or is it offense?) to Rob Zombie but maybe he should just stick to music.

I googled it, Xng, but all I got was the "Manchester United" soccer club website and a bunch of universities. I'm confused too.
