I'll see you at Dead and Buried then most likely.
So Honeythorn if you can't come to the zombie thing come to Dead and Buried instead! (and to be honest I've never really dressed up as a zombie either, -100 deffrawk points)

Thanks but I've found most of the places in London that appeal to me aren't all that gothicky, the Batcave and Dead and Buried excluded perhaps.

I have a yearning for this.
Yes, that is in fact a Pepperoni Ramen Pizza.
(I also made myself a strawberry milkshake today)

I'm listening to Stephen Fry's podcast and he's talking about manatees, his voice is so soothing I'm falling asleep.

Jake's sister went though another growth spurt so I got to go through her closet and see if I wanted anything, I ended up with two shopping bags full of clothes, including some really nice button ups, which I usually have a really hard time finding.

Cicero - I think the zombie walk is more do-able for me. I've watched a video or two on Youtube of a previous one and it seems you don't have to make a mammoth effort, just slap some grey round your eyes and splash a lot of fake blood about then stagger/dance. Easy enough!

I'm watching Horders on A&E.
I'm not saying the people are sickening, but their houses are.

Yay, I got another customer complaint, this like the last one was sensationalized, they made it sound a hell of alot worse then it really was. Nonetheless, I believe I'm going to try and start with the whole be nice thing today... yeah.

Why is it when you offend people at work, customer, they always try to get you fired, even if it's something that should only earn a the offender a little talking to?

Honestly, if a customer complained about one of my sales associates (and it was clear that he or she wasn't lying), I'd fire him.
You're getting paid to smile. If you don't like that, get a different job.

Cute http://ibc.lynxeds.com/video/america...mong-big-group
I dream of having a family of vultures, housed in a great wrought iron cage in the back of some Savannah mansion. Of course there would have to be an equally exquisite green house taking up half of the main floor, along with a small lagoon out back. Albino alligators and a moat to boot? Planning for the future is grand.

It would depend on the complaint, I have a Jewish friend and she has received multiple complaints for saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas," some of the complainers have gone on to try and have her manager force her to apologize to Jesus, the customers aren't lying, they are just sucky.
I also know people who have received complaints for enforcing store policy, do you really want your sales associates to break policy just to avoid complaints from entitled asshats?

Anyways, the stuff's done and over with... how does one be nice? I know how to be a jackass, talking with a bunch of them day in and out, but not enough nice people to know how to be nice. Would the best place to start at be not refering to people as jackasses, and the like?

Nah, those are different types of cases.
I mean the type of thing when a customer is rude, so the sales associate is rude back. That's never excusable.

I'm hungry but I don't know what to make. I had an early dinner but it was on the small side, I was just planning on having a small snack but I'm actually really hungry and I don't think a snack is going to cut it but I don't want to make anything all that involved.
