Unhappy Sigh. my friends.

I am a generally good (looking) person and I respect my friends and they're styles. I have even learned not to hate all emos, but of all things god as done, Why make alll my friends emo?

Every single one of my friends are emo!
I don't mind emos, but I have never actually befriended anything other than a emo or a chav in my life!
I would like to meet at least one person who is goth/punk/grunger/etc and has the same interests as me.

I have this one friend who really makes me sick, the rest i don't mind, but my friend is soooo stereotypical!
He cuts himself and tries to make it a bigger deal than it is, writes poetry on the school benches, and calls everybody else in the school conformists!

Also I have been feeling really lonely lately, I have just reallied I have never had any special relationships, I.E boyfriend/girlfriend.
I really could do with a big E-hug!
(By the way I am atheist)
Also, I know this may sound ranty, but it is the bitching forum.

Well have you tried looking at your hair from your avatar? It doesn't exactly scream goth or punk or grunger.

That is a really old pic, my more up-to-date hair is on my profile pic.
But i see what you mean, I myself think it looks emo, but what can i do?
I considered getting liberty spikes but it apparently doesn't look nice on me.

What does your being an Atheist have to do w/ the rest of this? Kid, you are slightly off, but here's an e hug anyway. I hated being a teen, so it's out of empathy. Don't worry, soon you'll be an adult, and hopefully, you won't be bothered with all of this anymore.

I wrote it because at the start of the post I thanked the Christian god.
And thank you for calling me off, I take pride in it.

It's okay. 99% of my friends aren't even goth. I kinda prefer it that way too. Not that I don't consider everyone here on this forum as friends. It's just variety. I'd feel pretty weird if all of my friends were essentially just like me in a gothic sense.

Hmm.. you don't have to have friends who have a lot in common with you to be good friends. There's nothing wrong with your situation..
I personally have a diverse group of friends, none of them you can really say are 'like' me.. One is a tomboy who listens to bands like Blink 182 (bleh, not my thing..), one is a very girly boy who shares a similar style as me, yet he is completely different than me in many ways, one is an extreme pink-loving girly girl, and the list goes on, but I think they're all awesome.
Anyway, if you're not content with all 'emo' friends, well, then go and befriend some other type of person.. Also, not having any, as you called them, special relationships, isn't the end of the world... Depending on how old you are, it is likely that you should wait, anyway.

Ditto. Im friends with almost everyone in my school, but then again, I'm acctually a very friendly person. But out of all of them, one is a mall goth, and the other just has great long, black hair, everyone else is just normal. It acctually should not matter what your friends wear or do, you should be friends with people for who they are, though im sure you already discovered this.

And don't worry about any "special relationships", im holding out until college. I think im pretty attractive as well, yet here i am at 16, and have never even had a boyfriend before. Maybe the people in your school just suck, like they do over here. Whatever the reason, don't waste your time thinking about it too much.

Friends don't make eachother sick. I'm glad that you dont 'mind' the rest of your friends. With an attitude like that, I'm suprised you have any to begin with.

It's good I face a similar problem as you, though I really don't have many friends at all
However, I know the 'emos' can be annoying at times with their sort-of-manic depression attitude-but hang in there, since that's such a fad in London now they'll problem be into goth any time soon. Or perhaps not. And if so, keep looking, London never used to be full of arsehats...oh well...If only the Batcave were still around.

By the way, what's Razor Pain like in real life?
Just curious....

Razer pain was fictional & based on my stereotypical friend.
He grows his hair really long, like a kind of grubby stretched bob, red & black hand-warmers, bullet for my valentine hoodie, converse boots, and baggy spiky trousers.
I once went out with him once around the town (exploring the beautifu camden market) and he insisted that we go inside Mdonalds just because there was, and I quote, "hot emo chicks" in there.

But still, he is good for a laugh now and then.

If you have friends like you claim you do, you have two choices:

1.Act as a teacher to them, setting an example of how to TRULY be unique and free-minded.
2.Expose them to what they truly are: conforming to the stereotype of the emo subculture.
or 3. Three decisions. Do nothing.
Now, Cardinal Fang, fetch the fluffy cushions.

Wow, you are in a very similar situation to me, only I'm in Alty at my Dads during weekends, where there are tons of cool people to hang out with.
In my year there is a couple of emos, and yep, these are pretty much the only ones I hang around with. And I can say for sure, I have the longest hair in my school. Drop a post if youre ever around Manchester.

:/ There is nothing sadistic about what you said. It's more selfish and shallow, if anything. I also doubt that you're referred to as 'the school sadist'. School sadists are bullies. People who gain enjoyment from beating up or making fun of others. If you are indeed considered a school sadist, go fist yourself.

Why don't you get the fuck over it and stop looking for friends based on how "goth" they are? Find friends that are good people.

And on that note, maybe goth people don't want to be your friend because you're such a douche.

Well I had no intention of making any of my posts sound sadistic.
Now go clean the dishes!
Anyway it is what my friends call me, I don't see how I'm sadistic.
I don't hurt other people, I am just cruel.

My two best friends and boyfriend became emo but I'm fine with it, I'm a rude person who says everything she thinks so they know my opinion and they're still my best friends altho the guy isn't my boyfriend anymore due to the lack of some things really needed in a relationship (so not because he's emo).
Some of my friends don't like me being goth, still they have to bear with it, otherwiser they wouldn't be true friends now would they?
Don't try to change your friends and don't go really looking for new ones, be happy with what you get.
