Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I was raised on hair metal/arena rock so I pretty much love all of that.

Hair metal, the enemy of all punkers. Including me! No worries though, I'm too busy trying to get my band off the ground to do anything about it.

Bahaha. I enjoy listening to each; I just happen to have more hair metal on my computer than punk. [I got all the leftover music from my dad.]

Well, considering the Dead Kennedys are my favorite band of all time that works. I also like the Bad Brains and MDC. Check my list in the beginning of this thread, it's just the short list. I'm a punk to the core, so now you know where I'm coming from. Check out my list.

I haven't even heard of even one fifth of those bands. I'll have to look some of them up.

Well, I can name some even more obscure Scandinavian Hardcore bands. Most of it is REALLY hard to find, if you look through record shops long enough, you find stuff. I love vinyl. Most of it UK82 bands, my favorite kind.

My dominant genres of music are metal and progressive rock.
My mother is/was a metalhead as was my longtime friend/ex-boyfriend.

I see. I like a bit of thrash (mainly Slayer and SOD) every once in a while. My ex was a bitch, thats all I'll say about her.
