The Last Cry are a three piece Darkwave band from the south coast who have earnt a reputation for an impressive and extravagant live show. Last year's Living in Grey is melodic, melancholic, edgy and powerful.
The Last Cry skillfully combine keyboards and guitars weaving around the bass lines and coming together with the heartfelt and emotional vocals making their sound as distinctive as the mixture is and drawing the listener into a lyrical maelstrom of fear, despair and void.
Luxury Stranger draw on the darkness of Post-Punk and Cold Wave, the theatre of 70s Glam (Bowie/Eno/Reed/Pop), the commerciality of 80s new wave and the rough edge power of 90s Grunge, Luxury Stranger are a cross-genre kind of band - creating music that can be appreciated by most music lovers and not easily put into a box. LS are considered Jekyl and Hyde - a methodical architect in the studio and a passionate powerful monster on the stage.
Imagine: David Bowie and Iggy Pop’s Berlin years mixed with a dash of Bolan glam, the disparate sound of Joy Division and early Cure, the energy and darkness of 90s Grunge with the melodies of Martin L Gore and power of The Chameleons and Echo & the Bunnymen - This is Luxury Stranger.
Quasimodo are a Gothic rock three-piece from Leeds formed in 2011 by former members of Action Directe and Rome Burns, performing spiky dark gothic with a heavy emphasis on the cool and the cruel.
