Tied Up.

My name is Magdalena, yes honestly that is the name my parents bestowed on me, I suppose I might as well get this over with.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
My hobbies are playing the violin, music, reading, writing, hating the world, and spending time with my pets(Two dogs, two Indian ring neck parrots, some fish, a crab, two turtles and my Tarantula)

2. Where are you from?
I was born in South Africa. Please do pardon me pointing this out, but I am *NOT* black. I lived there until I was about eight. Then we moved to Egypt for a year. And after that we were back in South Africa, and five years ago we moved to North Carolina. And now we live in Texas. If you have not guesses I am bilingual. I am fluent in Afrikaans.

3. Who is your favorite author?
It varies from time to time. But at the moment I have found a great adoration for Edger Allen Poe.

4. What are your favorite films?
You will hardly ever find me in front of a TV. But on those rare occasions I am probably watching Underworld or American Werewolf. I adore any scary flicks.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Kiss -London After Midnight

6. At your funeral?
The Howling - Within Temptation

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I always liked the idea of going to sleep and never waking up....

8. What kind of casket would you want?
A dark Cherry wood with blood red lace on the inside.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Combat boots, Black pants, Corset shirt and of course fishnet gloves.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I would definitely say not being judged.

11. What's your favorite band?
This changes all the time. But something I always love listing to is London After Midnight.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I am a freshman in high school. 9th grade. And I am thinking about a major in Veterinary science.

13. Why did you join?
If you've ever been in Conroe Texas you'd know exactly why.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I do believe I am Female.

Now that, that is over with. I don't care what people think. I believe in individuality. I am a really nice person, but everyone has there limitations. I do want to add that I have somewhat of an issue trusting people.

I love the Gothic culture, but unfortunately my parents don't approve of it. We often have fights about them not allowing me to be myself. They are very strict. And so I am tied up. because I unfortunately have to abide by their rules. For now.

You know, if you'd try presenting your case in a logical way instead of bawwing and whining about being a child of darkness like every dumb kid at that age, they might be more lenient because at least you'll have created a facade of maturity.

Pro tip: Parents like it when it's easier to pretend their kids aren't idiots.

I know! Don't get me wrong I am NOT an idiot. I have tried compromising. Ive talked to them calmly. Ive tried making them understand. My parents grew up EXTREMELY strictly and they believe that doing this is wrong and that I will end up screwing my life up. I'm still trying to show them that being goth doesn't mean I'm going to stop making good grades or stop respecting my elders.

A lot of people stopped buying South African tomatoes during the 1980s.

I never did however.
