I went to a asian themed gothic club night the other day. The guy with the ears really stood out. It was interesting, because it was supposed to be, everyone dress up asian and a lot of people where dressed as anime characters.

It is better to make your own things. It gives you that sense of accomplishment and success. Or are you like me and can't figure out how to use a sewing machine?

I can only do simple things that use simple stitches and hot glue.

If you have no work surface other than a shared kitchen and no sewing machine then cosplay from scratch that actually looks any good can pretty damn difficult. Yes, there are many options that are almost no-sew, but all the fun ones require either extensive sewing or *really* well hidden duct-tape.

As much as I would love to make my own costume, My sewing skills being put to use for this specific costume, would be a complete disaster. Most of it is leather looking and I don't have the specific tools to make such things. Obviously I could pretty much make a red cape myself, but I find it over all better, to just invest in a really nice tailor made costume, and then like I said touch up on the details which I'm sure I'm going to be picky about. Me and my cherokee are trying to figure out how were going to make the sword or actually find one that doesn't cost like 300 bucks... if all else fails I'll just have to go without...

Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Except: time travel, killing a bear in hand to hand, surviving an explosion in the middle of a nuke, etc.,etc.

It's kind of a girly manga..but I have some guy friends that really like it. It's pretty much about a girl who is constantly being told that she's that chick from the ring. She doesn't have any friends, she's scary, etc. Well the story centers around her transformation into this likeable girl, without having to really change who she is. Plus there's a love story that comes into it. It's cute and I like it.

Work=Pay!! (only a part-timer, but they hate it when I don't have an excuse to miss work on weekends).

Also, a link to the book would be nice. It's been years since I've read manga.

As much as it might be good.. .It sure doesn't sound good in my opinion...but I don't like hotdogs so that's probably why.
