Wal-Mart, Target, and occasionally Macy's or Boscovs for me. It all depends, really, on what I happen to pass, and if I like it. (Like at Target, I found a really cute frilly, piratey shirt in both creme and black).

I don't really shop at goth shops except to buy Manic Panic and Special Effects hairdye.

Thus my answers are: Opshops (thrift stores), Target, Cotton On, Zara, Top Shop, MNG, other random 'mainstream' shops around the place (particularly Asian ones, for the small sizes), and fabric stores like Spotlight for making my own shit.

walmart. Usually the bulk of my clothes shopping takes place in thrift stores or online.

Pffft! I shop everywhere. Not really an issue as to where I get clothes from, it's all good.

Wal-Mart, Walgreen's, anything Wal, Target, Hot Topic (okay so I confess), Spencer's, and the coolest Cost Plus World Market and 10,000 Villages.

I regularly wear a belt that was originally purchased at Hot Topic, though I can't really be considered to have bought it, per se, as it was given to me by a friend and I am no poorer for owning it.
I imagine this answer is less than satisfactory, but they don't call me Gothicus Maximus for nothing.

Old Navy, Walmart, and Macy's.
And occasionally, Hottopic and Claire's, for little accessories, but not often because their prices are completely outrageous.
Six dollars for a pack of four rubber bracelets?! Oh hell no.

I'm guilty.

I have a few things from Claire's and hot topic, but they're all either gifts or from a year ago. I still shop at Hot Topic for body jewelry though, there are several places online with a much better selection but I have no way of paying online. 3 of my plain black undershirt/cami/tanks are actually from Forever 21 (it was like 5 shirts for 5 dollars or something so I went in to buy some.....)

I'm also guilty of Spencers and Old Navy, occasionally.

I never really shop at Wal-Mart, but I found a nice fishnet swimsuit there....

I get a lot from Penny's, Kohls, Target, and random stores in my crap mall which I sadly say includes Hot Topic. I get my Hawaiian shirts from Wal-Mart, and then I make the rest of my stuff. Yay for DIY!

I have basically never bought anything from any 'goth shop' with the exceptions of some white foundation (I mix it with my regular foundation to make it lighter as my skin is kind of pale) and some red eyeshadow. And a corset I ordered from Heavy Red. Basically all my clothes come from thrift stores. I have no other certain store that I visit regularly to buy clothes.
Goth shops are shit anyway. I have visited some and most of the clothes I saw looked stupid. There were some nice corsets and shoes though...

Wow. Stranger, you're from Estonia? How cool is that! I shop at 10,000 Villages and Cost Plus World Market (both of which are discount world shops) and they sell stuff from Estonia, but I've never actually been there.

Target, Kohl's, Old Navy... lol. Yeah they have some great sales, and I find it easy to get cheap cargos, skirts, blouses, and tees, as well as adorable shoes. Kohl's is especially awesome for some gothy "costume" jewelry - wait for the sales! I've bought quite a few necklaces and earrings from there & I've had tons of compliments on them.

Does it matter where I shop is up to goth scratch or not? It's mainly thrift stores and department store sales for me, less wear and tear on the wallet especially where the thrift store sales are concerned.

Not to mention that most of the goth stores I see online have a bad ratio of nice stuff to fugly overpriced bullshit.

Wal-Mart... rarely. I don't like it though. I'm going to have to figure out an alternative to Walmart. They are some underhanded, coercive, and dishonest bitches.

Personally, I just don't like it because the people are always moody, it's hell to get any assistance with anything, and they always seem to believe that my mom and I are out to to steal dog food and toilet paper.

um...Target? They are a bit less evil as they actually pay their employees livable wages and they actually donate something like 5% of their profits to charitable causes, also customer service is a good bit better than you will find at Walmart...that and they have better looking, somewhat higher quality clothing

Just a small bit as to why I don't really like shopping Wal-Mart. Same goes for Hobby Lobby. The owner of Hobby Lobby takes pride and joy out of getting letters from foreign children thanking him for offering them a job. o_0
