Sigh...I miss the computer my dad had running a double boot of some version of Linux and Windows XP. One day it just wouldn't boot and he hasn't had time to fix it, so I'm stuck using Internet Exploder, with a non-administrative account so I can't visit half of the websites I want to. I liked Firefox, since I like to have multiple windows open at a time.

i'm looking at the site on both IE 6.0 and Firefox 1.0.4.
Still fairly narrow on Firefox, actually it's damn near identical to IE.

Not a problem though, just thought i'd point that out.

(for the non booting dualboot computer..pop in the XP cd, go to the repair console, login to the Admin account and type fixmbr at the DOS prompt, that'll fix it..maybe)

I might try that, but I'm afraid of getting yelled at. And sadly, I don't know command line. o.o;

Ok, how are the columns now?

I think we've located the problem that was making them super thin in IE, and then widened them a bit more from there as well. Also got a chance to change how the banners fall, so the pages don't bounce around.

Cool, thanks. Fixed a number of the indicators.

i'll admit i'm still getting used to it.

but i would like to ask if we can bring back the "jump to" box at the bottom of the page. that would be neat-o.

I think the border on the left side needs to be removed. This way the useable working space would be enlarged and the attractive wide pattern on the right edge of the page can remain intact.

Otherwise I love the new look and feel of the site. Excellent work!

Great job mods. The site is much cooler now.

And also I don't know if anyone noticed, but PM's have been turned back on it seems.

I didn't have a chance to see much of the old site anyways, I mean I'm still a very new member. I do really like the new site because it looks more formal and isn't as plain like it was before.

When I first logged onto g.net, I was a bit astonished and confused to what i thought of the new changes to the site. I can now opinionate. I suppose the background is quite nice, and I originally didn't really like the fact that the columns were too thin for my likely, as reading a post that was awfully long, seem pretty annoying. I'm also actually beginning to adjust myself to the new scenery here on g.net, and the new literary feel to the site is a good improvement.

This is awesome! The colour scheme kicks arse, and now we know whether someone is online or offline, I like that.

I love the new look. The pattern is awesome, too. I do think that if we removed the column of pattern on the left side, it would look.... Maybe not. It wuold be interesting to try though.

And I've fallen in love with the title picture at the top.

It did take me by surprise when I logged on today. mmmm... I like it though. Good work.
