Geekiness can be a -good- thing
Just out of curiosity...how do you mean gender ambiguous?

The story is told from a 1st person point of view and you never find out the gender of either the characters or any names. It sounds odd but the idea popped into my head and I had to write it.

I remember that episode!!
Today I whent to my friend's 18th birthday party. It was really hot outside, and for some reason one of our friends wanted to wear a long, flowy black skirt so she could say she was the chick from "Wicked", so we walked up to my house for the skirt. By the time we got to my house, I found the heat and sunlight quite disagreeable, so I used my black umbrella as a parosol and wore welders goggles as sunglasses. It was fun.

Dear iTunes,
Can you please wait until one song ends before playing the next one? 'You Oughta be here with Me' doesn't sound good doing the Vulcan mind-meld with 'Si Senor.'
Thanks.

You can change the settings on this- go to "Edit" and then "Preferences" (the very bottom). Then go to the "audio" tab, and un-check "Crossfade playback". That should solve your problem.

From Popbitch:
>> On a short fuse <<
Fishing with the Last Cowboy
Albania's most wanted outlaw blew himself up
while fishing with dynamite last week. Riza
Malaj, aka the "Last Cowboy", had eluded capture
by the authorities for years, but failed to
accurately gauge the length of a fuse as he
tried to blow up trout. He lost both hands,
blew out his eyes and suffered serious wounds
all over his body. He was taken to hospital in
Kosovo as he would have been arrested anywhere in
Albania, thanks to various warrants on charges
of murder, armed robbery, armed assault and
"battery of the education director of
his town".
Innit lovely for us modern-suave europeans to show yanks how to do things in style?
Albania: the original birthplace of the redneck (evolved from a local species of goat-herder).

Oh, clever girl you are! And to think I was going to go back to Windows Media Player.
Mahalo!
And now for some more randomness.
I feel bad for my boy-kitty, Hugo, because he doesn't know how to behave as well as his sister Alice does. Alice has learned that she can sit on my lap while I'm on my computer because she sits still and doesn't press buttons or click the mouse so I don't wind up sending IMs to people that look like this:
Well what time do you want to meetmmmmmmmmmmmm,,,,mloo00----====
Hugo, however, is a button-pusher and a mouse clicker, so I have to throw him off when he gets on my lap while I'm on my computer. He tries and tries and tries but I have to make him get down every time.
So I feel bad for him. I hope he doesn't think I like Alice better than him.

My cat likes to jump on my lap and then proceed to walk over the keyboard which gets quite annoying.
