Unhappy I don't like writing

It's just boring. I rather read than write. Too bad people have to write a lot of stuff for/at college.

What do you suggest as an alternative, a coloring book? Writing is necessary if only to propagate a universal ability to spell words correctly, not to mention it's a pretty good way to order one's thoughts.

Comics? Then youŽll "only" have to get good at drawing, storytelling and dialogue... but then again, the latter are usually the greatest hurdles of writing normal fiction, so you might just want to get over your fear of writing in the first place.

Why do you hate writing, other than that it's boring?
I find creative writing exciting, as do many.

Coming to the literature board and "writing" that you hate writing and you think is boring is like coming in a gay bar and saying "all of you homosexuals deserve to die" while kissing someone of your own sex

Next time, go to the whining board

Um, just to burst your little intellectual power trip here, whether or not you actually realized what I meant, I was talking about all the writing that goes on at college. Not the entirety of writing period.

So this thread is an example of what happens if you do not write enough detail to describe your thoughts or feelings adequately. Writing helps one to express themselves clearly, otherwise we may be misunderstood. Apparently, no one who responded understood what you were thinking of saying, but did not effectively say.

No power trip intended, was there a hint of power conveyed in my earlier post? Please explain, so that I may learn to express myself more clearly too.

It's poor form to use the same word twice in a sentence. It's even poorer form if it's profanity. If you meant something different, then you should clarify your statement, otherwise it's better to write nothing at all.

Seems to me a college student would know that. Otherwise, if writing term papers is not your bag, I might suggest basketweaving.

Fuck is the exception to this rule. The more you say fuck, the better the sentence is. Don't you watch Tarantino movies?

LMFAO!

And that is why I joined this site... :P

But seriously, how is writing any more boring than talking? You are doing essentially the same thing, putting your thoughts into words.
