Okay...how sad is this? My (nonexistent) dorm room cupboards are so bare that I am eating a can of peas. That's right. That's all the food I have. I need to go grocery shopping. Eeks.

No...I thought we'd get the hair done. I didn't know I had an entire lack of foodage. I can always walk down the 4 flights of stairs to the ****** PM and buy myself some overly convenient junk food groceries. Or just a meal.

Well I'm on msn, but you're not....and I already parked my car. We can do the hair tomorrow. I know you're tired. I'm drinking tea...it's kind of filling me up.

i cannot say i agree with this or like the idea of this "introduction by starting you're own thread"
i thought this was greatly discouraged.....?
was i wrong??
so now we get to wade our way through hundreds of newbs who probably get bored with us and dissapear from this site within a matter of weeks.
is there not already enough pointless threads?
so whats the deal with the sudden rule change?
hold on this is sounding rather like a rant.....
RANDOMNESS.............i am eating cold pizza right now, it was only delivered 10minutes ago!
Damn delivery drivers!!!

Anyone know anything about the Art Institute?? I'm worried if I go there for Media Arts and Animation and pay the ridiculous tuition, I will come out of it in debt with a Bachelors degree no companies respect... Advice anyone??
(AI of Pittsburgh via online correspondence if you need me to narrow it down)

Meh, I feel guilty for not being on so much. But sometimes I feel like I don't have anything to contribute.
Anyways, I just need a top for my Valentine's Day outfit to be complete.

That actually is the rule. I've had to wash her nasty dishes before. It's gross.

Hey Winged!
Sanctus, I have no idea about the Art Institute. But I would check online and ask around at different places and see wht the real colleges that people hire from are. The main thing should be your art, not where you learned it, though. Just blow them away, luv. I mean with your art of course. Wow them!

Um...I don't know where you're from...but I go to a great school for art. We have a 98% in field job placement rate within a year after graduation. It's fab. I'm an art major...incase you didn't know.

Personally I am not a fan of the Art Institute. Their tuition is ridiculously over priced, and I was not impressed with what they offered for said ridiculous price.
I would be inclined to suggest you look for a reputable college or University in your area, with a good Media Arts program. It's hard to go wrong with a Bacehlor's from a University. Plus you can take your core classes at a local community college to save money, and then transfer to a University as a Junior to take your degree specific classes and finish your Bachelor's.
That's what I am doing, and I have saved a TON of money doing it that way.
I was also put off by the fact that the Art Institute, really puts on a hard sell. I don't like being pressured, and at least in Houston, they simply were relentless.
Have you considered applying for Financial Aid through the Federal Government?
I can help walk you through that process, if you want to see if you are eligible.
Pm me or whatnot, and I'll show you how to apply for FAFSA.
Glad your thinking about doing the degree. I kick myself daily for not doing it myself twelve years ago.
I just know you will be fabulous.

Well, the reason I'm almost 100% going to The Art Institute of Washington unless I don't get accepted hehe.... Is because they don't really focus on core classes such as english, math, science, and history.
For the entire 4 year program I'd take a total of 1 math class, 2 history classes, and 1 science class. Only having 4 liberal arts classes out of 12 semesters in my opinion is pretty sweet.
