Let the mending begin. And let's hope everything he's promising is not just clouds in the coffee. I WANT to believe it's all genuine.
For once in my life, the bitter cynic is optimistic and is HOPING it all comes true.
God Bless Barack Obama. And may God Bless a new vision of a more tolerant and visionary minded America.

Dude. CNN is showing McCain speaking to his voters.
Honestly, I disagree with most of McCain's opinions, but he really deserves better than this type of voters.

McCain's speech is actually pretty nice though the crowds reactions are not so pleasant

Hahaha. I wish I had someone to drink with. As it is, it'll just be more ice cream.

Seriously. I bet he feels insulted by how stupid most of his voters are.
Voter: "Obama is an Arab. I can't trust him!"
McCain: *thinking "Oh, God. What did I do to deserve this?"*
"No. No he's not."

May the drinking and promiscuous celebratory sex commence! HE FUCKING WON!
So far 333 to 156, this isn't victory, this is a ruthless cornholing of epic proportions!

Actually I don't like that.
Obama barely won the majority vote, but overwhelmingly won the electoral vote. Just like Bush.
Democrat or no, fuck the electoral college.

Bush LOST the majority vote. Obama has 51%, so your statement is incorrect.

I hate the electoral college with a burning passion, as you should well know. Mind you, he is winning the popular vote AND the electoral vote.

I'm talking about the ridiculous difference in majority vote v difference in electoral college. So no, I'm not incorrect, just not specific enough.

Ah. Well I do agree that indirect voting is stupid (Bush is burning evidence).

I've been wondering. How come elections this past decade have been so close?
I don't think that's how it used to be. It's too weird that presidential approval are on the percentage decimals and such.

I'm not sure, but I don't think all results in bygone days were the same in appearance.

Because no side has put out a particularly strong candidate in the past few elections...plus these days they keep track of voters a bit better so you can't pretend to be multiple people and vote over and over again
