I went to the doctor to get weighed.
His weight could only take a certain amount that I was fairly sure I was over, because I was when I moved out, and I didn't think I had lost that much.
But I got up, and in 4 months or so, I have lost 33 pounds! (15 kilos)
I am very proud.

Well this made my yesterday...

Well this made my yesterday really, but the high has carried over to today. I got confirmation that an article I wrote last year about the Gothic Handmade Movement is appearing in the newest issue of Gothic Beauty, So I'm pretty pumped! I raced to the nearest store that sells it yesterday and bought a copy only to feel like a total idiot to see that I had bought Issue 31, not issue 32 (Issue 32 hadn't reached the store yet.). lol.

I know AC already said it, but really dude.. if you're experiencing "massive weight loss" just by eating less, does it REALLY make sense to have a bypass surgery?

My happy of the day: my upstairs neighbor chick gave me the password for her wifi. Score.

So... you're going to pay someone thousands of dollars for an invasive surgery, instead of hiring a nutritionist and a trainer to teach you how to control your weight yourself?
I know that what I say won't stop you, but really.. this makes no sense to me whatsoever.

On the other hand, he probably realizes its not a quick and easy solution, surgery is quite the pain in the ass to put it lightly. He said he had a year to think about it, and if he honestly doesn't feel he can get to a healthy size on his own, I can totally understand why he would want to do this. Money wise it would probably balance out to hiring a trainer and dietitian and it would still come down to his own willpower in the end.

I don't like that people cut themselves up to change themselves, but it is an important health issue and he's feeling frustrated, much as I disagree he makes sense.

I think you could totally do it on your own, TR, but good luck with the surgery.

The indian girl working at McDonalds who gave me my meal and said:

"One meal of the ChickenMc."

She also called me 'sir'.

Made me smile.

TR - congrats on the weight loss. I'd do everything before having surgery. it friggin' sucks. I've only had one but Mr Bat's had about 50+

Had an excellent housewarming party yesterday. Chillin' on the deck, looking out over the garden. Got to cuddle some babies. I have awesome friends.
