I hate making friends (vent)

Everytime I try to make friends the conversation is nice then all of sudden forever silence. The ones that continue to talk to me get to the point of meeting up with me or joining a video call. Then they ditch me and I'm sitting here alone wishing my friend didnt kill themself. Then I would have my friend back to chill with. He was douchey on his perspective of girls and very preppy but playing video games with him and smoking was something really nice.
