I hate my intuition sometimes.
I have this really bad feeling concerning my 'road sister'. Something's not right. I don't know what, but I haven't any easy means to get a hold of her, only an e-mail address. I doubt she ever checks that.
I seriously hope I'm wrong.. :/
(Not necessarily a rant, but close enough and not worth a thread of it's own).
Edit: She just got on Yahoo.. at least I know she's not dead.

Sometimes I hate living here. Everyone is in a fucking panic because it is going to snow. We are only expected to get 1-3 inches, people need to calm the hell down.

I don't understand the people I work for. Jake and I work at sister locations that are about five minutes apart. I was told that I didn't need to come in yesterday or today but Jake was essentially told that if he doesn't make it in today then he is in the shit. I know that I work customer service and that he works security but the people who work the first and second shift are staying on property and everyone else who works Jake's shift live less than five miles from property so it isn't as though they will be short staffed (the agreement for allowing staff to stay on property is that they have to be on call).
