I am become Rotpar, newbie

Hello, I am new. Primarily came to submit a short story, but curious about the site and the community. Honestly, this might be more of my sister's cup of tea, so if nothing else I'll scout the land and send her gothy ass in.

I've been a horror movie fanatic my whole life, and in a few weeks I'll start my Halloween binge; nothing but horror. Been reading Stephen King since I was nine or ten, Dean Koontz and Edgar Allen Poe later on, moved onto Lovecraft eventually and have delved into others like Robert Chambers or Arthur Machen.
