My sister-in-law not only was awarded for graduating at the top of her class but also given the highest award that her school has, which I cannot remember the name of but it is for all around excellence (character, academics, extracurricular activities, community involvement, etc.).

Oh yeah and she got a job at a sports medicine clinic in Williamsburg, which she starts next week.

Also I may have spent the last 12-ish hours drinking with her and her family, I apologize to any of you that I may have texted.

Feeling sick to my stomach about the Conservative majority, but feeling awesome that the NDP wiped out the Bloc and crushed the Liberals (for those not in the know, NDP is the left wing party, Liberals are center-left, NDP never got more than 50 seats before). So absolutely depressed I have to live at least five years under a Conservative government, but maybe next election will be the one for the left.

Today I ate an entire solid chocolate Easter bunny, then spent all evening sick with a tummy ache.

My best friend in Montreal raging right now over the conservative victory additionally, who voted for the Bloc Quebecois.

Hey Batty- How did things go at the doctor?

I believe tonight I shall finish off my ciggies, and shoot my cats again. With my camera. Two out of three were willing models earlier today but I'm hoping for better luck later. I now need to get my kid drugged up with Benadryl for her seasonal allergies and to bed, and finish this awfully strong rum n coke.

Oh, just a little while ago I informed my Man that I want a Sphynx cat for next Christmas + my birthday and that I'm arranging meet and greets with the breeders in our area. I'm also doing more research into the breed (as if that was possible with all the research I did last year). But I am determined on having a Sphynx. I'm not giving up on this. Poor man doesn't quite know what he's in for I fear

Yeah doctor visit went well.. nothing to worry about. Bloody doc pinned me down for a pap smear. I'm only five years overdue - totally not happy.... but on the good side of the day, I did 60 minutes and 6.8km on the treadmill and then did a weight training session at the gym to prove my insanity.

That is how I roll too, Catch. Must smoke outside. I don't mind smoking in a car though, as long as the windows are down an inch or two, at least.

Batty- I'm glad the Dr's went relatively well and you got at workout.

I didn't shoot the cats like originally intended, but i did get to chat on the phone with one of my dearest friends from high school. We talk on the phone maybe once or twice a year and always say we should do it more often!

Only regret that my brain wasn't quite present. That situation is now over with though, and today is the day to set a new foot forward! The girl arrived at school on time, (early even!) and I'm just waiting for shops to open so my tasks can be taken care of.
