The kids I watch (four and two) are singing Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright to me. I'm suffering from adorable-overload.

I am glad I finally caved and joined the rewards program, especially since our in house stock is running very low right now.

Technically, "Hallelujah" is by Leonard Cohen, although Rufus Wainwright performs a lovely cover of it.
I prefer Leonard's original, myself ... can't imagine kids singing along to it though.

I myself have always preferred Mendel's.
That's a knee slapper if there ever was one.

Both my siblings and my brother's roommate (who has been his friend since he was little, I used to babysit them!) came over for an evening so they could charge their cellphones and laptops (they won't have power until tomorrow afternoon apparently) and we ordered pizza. It was a lot of fun to hang out with them both at the same time, they had a bit of a falling out so its rare to get them together. And it was the first good cheeseless pizza I ordered out for! They were very generous with the toppings.

One of the tiny balls on my lip ring fell off during calculus today, and after class my professor and two of my classmates got on their hands and knees to help me find it. Successsss!

Birthday went off brilliantly. It was a fucking awesome night - my friends are the best. I am now the proud owner of some seriously cool shit, and some not-so-cool, the latter being the hangover that's currently r.aping my head. It's gonna be a 2 or 3 day job shaking this fucker.
It was totally worth it.

We have our marriage license now. It makes things seem a whole lot more real, funny how the cheapest, easiest, quickest thing can do that.
