What's made my day: a splendid job interview, a delicious dinner, and excellent company this evening.

What's amused me as of late: it's become obvious that Oaf goes out of her way to contradict me, no matter what I say. That someone wants to disagree with me SO MUCH just strikes me as silly.

To be perfectly fair you do have a tendency to antagonize her.

Mouse bones. Tiny wee legbones to be precise. I discovered my aunt's neighbor has an eagle owl, and of course like all owls it regurgitates the small bones of it's prey in pellet form.

So I got my mom to ask for a few pellets. I got home today and there were 3 pellets in a bag! yay!

I've taken them apart now ( they smell really odd, I can't even describe it ) and have a big palmful of little legbones. Lots of front legs with the three main toebones branching off, and a wee pile of what I assume are back legs. No skulls or jaws alas.

Still, very pleased with that ^_^ Thankyou Mr Owl !

Um ... ewwww!

In a completely different line of thought, it amuses me to see another conservative Repubilcan who made his bones on preaching about family values and ethical purity get hung up in his own sex scandal.

I saw that! I love it a bit too much, I think. See, you can only have sex after marriage, but it doesn't necessarily have to be with your wife, amiright? Its like that anti-Gay activist that got caught with a male prostitute, on one hand its sad that he feels so bad about his own sexuality that he has to make others miserable, and on the other hand, hahahahahaha!

But what made my day today was www.genderfork.com, when I find blogs that are interesting I HAVE to read all the entries, so its taking up my day. I've been sick all week so its a nice excuse to spend a day off on my computer.

Call me crazy, but I like the way owl pellets smell. Kind of sweet and musky, and they remind me a little of that sweet dusty smell cats have.

If BP was a Japanese company, they would have plugged the well with their executives by now.

Borrowed a friends 350 Honda for a little while today,it was good to get out by myself and just ride.

All I had to worry about was running out of gas.

Used a lot of muscles I forgot I had,and I know that my shoulders and my neck are going to be sore as all hell around this time tomorrow, but it was worth the R&R time.

Should hold me over until I pick my 300 up and have it rebuilt (the main goal is to get it as Factory new as I can,or at least get it back to road worthy status).

My day was made by being allowed to leave work early due to the weather and being able to sort out he details of painting the new place. The boys are going to tape up everything on Wednesday and Jess and I will paint before I go in on Thursday and since we are only painting the living room and dining room we can still move plenty of stuff in before having to wait for the paint to dry.
